We get back to the house and see that Ryan and Larisa were already there. I sit the groceries down quickly giving them both a hug. I help alecia unload them and get the stuff we needed out.
"Go be with him," she hugs me whispering in my ead.
"I can help,"
"I know but you need to be with him in a moment like this," I smile walking over to where Christian is sitting beside him. He wraps his around me and continues on with his conversation.
"We brought a bottle of wine if you want some Astrid," Larisa holds up her glass. I had to think quick of some besides 'no I'm good' Christians knew I didn't pass up on a glass of wine.
"I'm good for now ill have one when we eat," he still looks at me confused sipping his.
"Babe do you mind if run upstairs and talk real quick," I glance over at collin who gives me a smile and nod.
"Yeah, will you excuse us," we stand up but before we could get to the stairs someone knocked of the door.
"Hi Christian, congratulations." A bunch of guys with lights and cameras came into the living room and starting go set up.
"Thank you," Christian started talking to them. I just got out of the way sitting on the stairs. Collin walked over sitting beside me.
"Were you gonna tell him?"
"Yeah I was gonna try, I just wanna yell at him hey dumbass you knocked me up," collin starts dying of laughter
"You can't tell him like that," he pulls himself together from the laughing fit, pulling his phone out his pocket. "Let's mess with him," he opens Spotify playing 'Be My Baby' by The Ronettes. Christian looks at us singing the song and I put extra emphasis when mouthing the words baby.

At around 7 pm everyone was over and the film crew was ready to go live. I stood with cam and collin behind the couch. Making jokes with them.
"Wheres Astrid?" Christian turned around looking at me confused. "Come sit by me," I walk around the couch and sit beside him. He kisses my cheek just before they call live.
"With 47 home runs, 32 stolen bases, 104 RBIs, a .332 avg, and 1.100 ops. Christian Yelich of the Milwaukee Brewers is your 2019 NL MVP. Congratulations Christian, tell us whos there with you."
"This my mom, my stepdad, my two brothers, my girlfriend, Ryan, and Larisa Braun, my cousin, and some of my friends."
"Well last time we talked to mom about this but this time we're gonna talk to the girlfriend," I laugh nervously not ready.
"So tell us how you feel about this what kind of pride do you have your boyfriend." I stare a Christian figuring out my exact answer.
"So much pride, I knew how hard of a worker is and how passionate he is even before forming a personal relationship so now having one I get to see more of how amazing he is." Christian interlocks his hands with mine and I smile happy, with my reply.

Christian does a thank you speech and I pull him aside wrapping my arms around him.
"I'm proud of you, but I really need to talk to you."
"I know and we can talk later,"
"Ok." I hold my glass of apple juice to my chest. Scanning the room, cam walks over standing beside me so I wasn't just standing alone.
"Cam how do you feel about being an uncle,"
"Uh I don't know, do I have to take care of the kid?"
"No," I laugh
"Then pretty good I guess it be cool. Wait?" I nod my head staring in Christian's direction him laugh at something braun said.
"That's cool, I think?"
"Very cool," I sip my drink resting my hand on my stomach.

Christian was never and still wasn't the kinda of guy to go out and celebrate no matter how big the occasion. So once the house cleared I knew I could finally get him alone and tell him.
"Can we talk now," I sit on the bed smoothing the spot beside me. His back was to me and he was rummaging through a drawer.
"Can it wait till tomorrow I'm tired,"
"Damn it," I scoff marching over digging through my purse. I pull out the pregnancy test and slam it on the dresser in front of him. I stare ar him angrily and watch his eyes dart from the test room mine back and forth. A smile forms on his face softening my expression.
"Really?"
"Really."
"IM GONNA BE A DAD!" he pulled me off my feet kissing me through a smile. "YOURE GONNA BE A MOM!"
"YEAH!" I kiss him again laughing tears forming in my eyes.
"I love you," He gets down so he's right at my stomach. "Both of you."
