"I'll see you later Cody," I don't even look at him practically running out the door

"I'll see you later Cody," I don't even look at him practically running out the door. I knew he would try and convince me to not go even though I'm not going for Christian. I was hoping he would be at the gym or starting his day extra early in the field. I knew what I wanted to say to him I figured out the feeling I had. I just don't know how or when ill be able to tell him.

I park, grabbing the coffees I picked up on the way. Knocking on the door a few times getting a little scared everyone was asleep and I had just woken them up with my neediness for "mom attention".
"Yes?" The door swings open to a just awoke groggy Christian. He looked absolutely adorable, he always did just waking up.
"Is your mom here? I got her coffee," I hold the cup up and he smiles rubbing his eyes.
"No the whole family went for breakfast but I needed my sleep so I stay back," He rests his head against the door smiling down at me making my heart swoon at the look in his eyes.
"Oh ok ill come back later, I should have called." I smile and go to turn around
"No how about you just come and wait inside they'll be back in an hour you can watch tv play with the dogs," He waves his hand opening the door and I walk in standing like a teenager over at her boyfriend's house for the first time. "What's in that coffee?"
"Just cream and sugar," I hold it up to him. He takes a sip doing a little shake waking himself up. "You can go back to bed I'm sorry for waking you."
"Now who in their right mind would go to sleep with a beautiful girl in their house," I smile at his comment scrunching my nose sipping my coffee.

"I like this," he smiles interrupting the focus I had on the tv show
"What?"
"You, here with me. I missed just watching you." I would be lying if I said I didn't miss it too. It was like old times sitting on the couch watching tv. We all have our happy place. Person, place, or thing it doesn't matter we all have something. I've slowly but finally realized that's Christian. I look at my watch and see that I had been here for almost an hour. There was no sign of Alecia coming home and I wanted to get to the park with Cody and V.
"I think ill go, tell your mom I came by and to text me when a good time to come back will be."
"So you'll be back," he jumps up following me to the door.
"Yes, ill be back to talk to your mom." I laugh adding some tone to the yes.
"Well just in case I happen to not be here when you do come by, here's this." He takes a step closer putting his hand behind my head pulling me to him. I could feel the sparks as his lips pressed against mine. It felt like the first time we kissed all over again.

The kiss was soft and then moved on to being more passionate as I wrapped my arms around him. He pulls my legs up and I wrapped then around him as he carried me to the couch. I pulled off his shirt then mine.

★★★★★★★★★★★

We were laying there holding each other his arm wrapped around me. My hands laid on top of the one as his other played with my hair. I was in paradise us both out of breath. Pulled away from happiness when my dinged.

Cody: I and V are heading to the stadium. See you later?
Me: yeah be there soon.

"Shit I gotta go," I jump up butting on my shirt. Christian wraps an arm around pulling me to him. I straddle him grinning. I push his hair out of his eyes resting my hands behind his neck as his rest folded behind my back.
"You're going to dodger stadium, ill just take you. No need to rush miss." He pulls a cheeky smile and kissed me transferring the smile to my lips.
"Alright, well go get dress I don't like being late." I jump back up putting my hands on my hips looking at like get up now. He throws on his clothes and runs up the stairs. I follow him hoping to find some makeup wipes and mascara to fix the mess I was. "Wait wheres your family, breakfast doesn't take 2 hours?"
"Cam and Collin are at big bear, mom and stepdad are at moms parents all day,"
"So you lied," I scoff dropping my jaw.
"Yeah, I wanted to be with you for a minute." He laughs taking a step down. "If this is the lie that's gonna get me killed, then ill die a happy man."

I wave him off and walk to the tunnel and onto the field grabbing V's attention.
"Hey girly, where were you?" She hugs me going right into the questions.
"Oh, nowhere special meeting a friend," I half-lie.
"Ha who would be your friend," dugie laughs rubbing the pine tar on his bat. I walk over kicking it from his hands making him stumble forward. "I deserved that" he laughs getting his balance.
"Come on you can tell me," V pushes nudging me.
"I was with last night's topic," I whisper and smile watching her eyes grow and her jaw drop.
"YOU'RE- you're kidding me," she gets overexcited then leans in whispering. I pull her away not wanting the boys to here the conversation
"No, I'm not, I went to see Alecia and he was there alone. I waited for her to get home and it turned into more. A LOT MORE." I put extra exaggeration on the last part making her smirk.
"Well here comes a lot more," she nods towards the visiting dugout as Christian and Ryan run onto the field to take bp. I flash him a smile and he flashes one back making me fill with happiness.
