“W-w-where am I?” Amanda started to stir midair on their way back, “J-Jeremy?”
“Amanda,” Jeremy grabbed her hand, his fearful expression relaxing along with his shoulders, “You’re awake!”
“What happened?” her eyes fluttered once, and then her head slumped from Apollo’s back to Jeremy’s shoulder.
“I-I’m so sorry, Amanda,” now it was Jeremy’s turn to stutter. He bowed his head, “I didn’t mean to, I honestly didn’t!”
“Well, whatever it was, I’m not angry at you,” Amanda smiled, “I really don’t want to know.”
“Well, kids,” Apollo spoke, “Time to head down to the TV station. We’ve got a live broadcast to make if we want to break Iris’s spell.”
“Whose spell?” Amanda woozily asked.
Apollo and Jeremy worriedly looked at each other. “Amnesia,” Apollo mouthed.
“I know,” Jeremy mouthed back.
