Meauv and Kents Secret

Six years before the rise of Norvell was the day Kent came to Cereba and he was in good cheer. Just leaving his life in the monastery behind he was eager to start a new life and raise a family. He was six feet tall with broad shoulders and a broad chest. He was a human and had wavy brown hair, sky blue eyes and a smile that could make any woman swoon. He had a certain charm and confidence about him that attracted men and women to his side to seek his company or to hear him spin a yarn. He was strong as an ox and his magical aptitude in the healing arts were the envy of many. He wore robes of silk and satin the color of the bright teal sky above. He had several gold and silver rings on his fingers of varying sizes and shapes with sapphires, rubies and emeralds embedded within them. He made a good living using his magical gifts healing the sick and injured and just accepting whatever donations people might choose to offer him. Often if he saw a person was too poor he would refuse to accept payment no matter what they said. Everyone in Cereba had grown to love him for his generosity and good nature. He worried in the back of his mind that they may reject him when they found out he was truly and hopelessly in love with a young forest elf girl he met on his last visit to Cereba before he officially left the churches service. Every time he heard her name or smelled the scent of her favorite flower his heart would flutter. He was completely and utterly in love with her and she with him.

Meauv was a beautiful young forest elf who used her special magical gifts to make plants grow with a single thought to make everything she could possible need out of the leaves and grasses of the various plants within Cereba including food, clothes and furniture. She used her abilities to create bandages as soft as silk for Kent to use when healing the people of the forests wounds and loved every moment of it. They worked together often and got along very well. Meauv was about a foot shorter than Kent with a petite frame green hair and brown eyes. She had an almost almond shaped face with plump red lips the color of a ripened apple and a thin waist, so thin that Kent could practically encompass with just his hands. She was the perfect vision of beauty to Kent and he the perfect specimen of manhood to her. Every time they saw each other it was all they could do to maintain the appropriate distance. They were rarely alone unless strolling through the city gardens at night as Kent was afraid of besmirching her honor.

Over the next few weeks they spent almost every waking moment together working and getting to know each other so well that they could anticipate what the other was going to say, do or need. They did not have to say much at all when working but still spoke of their hopes and dreams discretely around patients and other towns people. On the night of the full moon Kent went to Meauvs home and knocked on her door waiting until she answered.

Kent said "Good evening Meauv I was hoping you would do me the honor of joining me for an evening stroll and picnic?"

Meauv smiled and replied "It would be my pleasure to join you Kent."

Meauv wore a light green dress which seemed to be made a four massive palm tree leaves, although he knew they were not palm tree leaves, that had been cut to fit together perfectly and sewn together with the stems of wild flowers magically strengthened to not break. Her hair was pulled back with a ring of lilacs and she had babies breath that seemed to be growing out of her green hair.

Kent smiled at her and said "You look particularly enchanting this evening."

Meauv blushed and said "Thank you Kent I thought you might be coming by this evening and wanted to make something new to wear."

Kent smiled and blushed a bit himself and said "I'm most flattered you would go to such trouble for me dear sweet Meauv."

To which Meauv replied "Of course I would, you know how I feel about you even if neither of us has spoken of it out loud."
