Help When Help Is Needed

Livior was unconscious after almost three days. Everyone knew if he did not wake soon and eat or drink something he would die. They crossed into first born lands overnight last night and knowing they had to get Livior help which could not wait to reach the capital Shriv asked Troyth to find the nearest first born village and land right in the middle of it if he had to. Troyth agreed and just after dawn they spotted a small village that seemed to be made entirely of crystal. The buildings, the tools people were using, everything. The villagers spotted Troyth coming and were preparing to attack when Genia lifted her arm in the air with a red piece of fabric dangling from her arm which was known to be used by those in distress within the Theressian alliance. The villagers stopped and waited for Troyth to land.

Once they landed the village elder came over to them and asked "Who are you and why did you come into our lands uninvited?"

Shriv said "My son Livior is ill and needs help."

The elders eyes widened and he said "Please repeat your sons name."

Shriv said exasperatedly "His name is Livior! Now will you help us or not!"

The elder stepped over and removed the vines holding Livior to Vahlt and Livior floated away in front of the elder. They all started running behind them asking where they were taking him and demanding to know in no uncertain terms what they were doing. The elder stopped only for a moment and turned to them saying "I understand he is your son and you are worried but do not demand anything of us. We will cure your son of whatever ails him no matter the cost. Now, wait here and we will return when we have finished."

With that the elder did not say another word and walked off with Livior continuing to float ahead of him as if on an invisible floating bed. Shriv, Genia, Vahlt and Troyth watched helplessly as Livior disappeared into a large crystalline building. They waited for over three hours before the elder exited the building looking absolutely exhausted and slowly walked over toward them. The elder stopped a few feet from them and sat on a bench next to them. Finally he looked up at them and said "He will recover. He used far too much magic and his body was not able to recover the lost energy so he slipped into a comatose state to try to reduce the energies he needed to live on in order to rebuild his energies. Please tell me, how did he manage to use so much energy? It took draining half our villagers energies into him to get him to a stable energy level."

They proceeded to explain the attack and what Livior had done which seemed to alarm the elder. Then he said "May I examine your energies mother to the hero?"

Genia asked "Mother to the hero?"

The elder said "You are Liviors mother are you not?"

Genia said "Yes,I am."

The elder then said "Welcome to the land of Livior. Your son is the hero mentioned in our prophecies and that makes you the mother of the hero. May I please examine your energies?"

Genia said "Yes I suppose so."

The elder waved his hands over the area they indicated that she had been injured and his eyes popped wide open as if somebody had just slapped him across the face. He looked Genia in the eye and said "You were not merely injured, you were dead. He somehow summoned your spirit back from the other side perfectly intact and healed your body using his own energies to sustain you until your body and spirit were back in sync with one another and were able to sustain you independently once more. Such a process would take two or even three days. That would explain why he was in the coma and had only regained the minimum energies needed to sustain his own life. I do not understand how one person could sustain that kind of energy loss for so long though. Tell me again exactly what he said about how he responded during the battle, EXACTLY as he told it."
