The Ruthless King

Before anyone could say a word Livior stepped into his own portal and was gone. Livior came out of his portal at the mouth to the ring and walked casually in. He suddenly came to huge gates with stone mountains on each side with walkways on top of them for archers and magic users to stand post. There were at least fifty on the walls by the doors when he approached. He walked casually to the door with the orcs laughing at him and simply placed his hand on the door which exploded into hundreds of tiny splintered pieces of wood with his softest touch.

The orcs were blown off their feet away from the doors and walls out into the large open space in the center of the orc stronghold. Livior then stopped and felt out with his mind for his brothers energy and felt it extremely faintly coming from under the large building to his left. As he turned toward it the orcs in the square around him were back on their feet heading toward him. He moved faster than any living thing should be able to and with his staff in its dual bladed form cut through over a hundred in minutes without taking a single hit. His skin glowed pink as it did when he used love to fuel his magic.

As he made it to the foot of the steps leading to the building his brother was in hundreds of orcs came streaming out of the building across the street behind him running toward him. Livior just cocked his head to the right and they all burst into flames as easily as lighting a candle. Liviors eyes were now glowing like flames in the night. When he turned his head back hundreds of more orcs ran out of the building he wanted to enter and knowing he may need more of his magic to heal Vahlt when he reached him Livior again began making his way through the crowd of orcs spinning his staff with improved urgency feeling his brothers life energies almost gone. It took him almost the entire next hour he gave his army to clear them all out leaving them on the dirt and steps behind him as he went.

The inside of the building was dirty and stank of rotten flesh. Livior searched the rooms until he found a dungeon with at least twenty cells. Livior blew each door open, most had forest elves inside chained to walls. He released them quickly and told them to head outside and meet their people as they entered the ring which they did without question seeing the new crown on his head and the fire in his eyes. When Livior reached the last cell and the door burst open there was Vahlt laying on the ground and a rather strange looking sun elf chained to the wall.

She had blood red hair and platinum blond eyes which was the opposite of how they normally appeared. She stood nearly as tall as Livior and that's saying something seeing as he is six foot three. She had an athletic body that would drive any man wild if they weren't in this situation. She saw him and said "Hurry he wil die soon, I heard of your powers you can heal him and bring him back if he dies."

Livior knelt down and Vahlts eyes opened just a little. Vahlt said very weakly "I knew you would come brother but I fear it is too late. Tell Mivia, mother, father and my children I love them with all my heart as well as you. Please take care of Mivia and my children, they will need you to act as their guide and a father as you do your own. I know they will grow up right, true and strong with you by their sides guiding them."

Livior started to try to heal him but something was blocking him. Livior said sobbing "I will push through whatever is stopping me and heal you so you can tell them yourself. I can't lose you brother, please don't go."

Vahlt said "I think I have to brother but always remember I will watch after you even from oblivion."

Vahlts eyes stayed open but his breathing and heart stopped. Livior saw the light in his eyes dim and leave knowing that was his brothers soul. Livior let loose a groan of grief unlike anything the sun elf nearby had ever heard before and was sobbing herself. Just as Livior bent down to begin healing Vahlt again, the sun elf yelled "Behind you!"
