~~~~~~fast forward 3 years~~~~
"Hey baby". I heard Jimin say behind me. I turned around and saw Jimin hugging Isa our 3 year old.
Jin walked in the door and came in the kitchen to hug me. "Hey babe, how are you feeling." Jin said. He stood back and put his hands in his pockets.
"I could do better" I laughed. We all were dressed in black as we walked around trying to forget what happened a week ago.
Jin was the last to arrive. They all stood in a line. Jimin and Isa last in line holding hands. I stood back and whipped a tear from my eye.
"Mommy~ don't cry~~" Isa ran over to me and wrapped her tiny arms around my legs. I chuckled after Jimin walked over and Hugged me. He kissed my forehead and grabbed my hand.
"There...we ready to go?" He said letting out a large breath. I looked at him and nodded. We all walked to the car and hopped it. Jimin helped buckle Isa in and we were off.
When we arrived at the church we had reserved seats for us. It's funny how he planned all of this out before he left. We all went to say our goodbyes. As it was my turn to walk up to the casket I held Isa on my side. "Where is he mommy?" She asked pointing. I grabbed her little hand and held it tight. "He...he's in heaven baby"
"Oh....I'll pray for him to get better so he can come back to earth!" She said with a smile. I laughed and rubbed our noses together. Isa was a bright child.
We sat back down again and suddenly Jimin pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket. He walked up to the alter and stood their. He unwrapped the paper and looked to me.
"Dear friends.
As I write this I assume Jimin is up on the alter reading this. The brave soul. I wish I had your bravery to go through the rest of life.
(Y/n)...thank you. Thank you for making a part of my life worth living, worth fighting for. It's not your fault that I'm gone...it was simply not my cup of tea, living.
Jin, thank you for being that friend who I felt comfortable with no matter the situation. I knew I could always eat like a pig with you and have the stupidest conversation with you. Your dad jokes, I'll take with me to the dirt.
I know it's hard to let go..but you have to. Our memories were simply a part of life. Just footsteps in the snow. Nothing more and nothing less. They don't hold any physical value but hey do hold value in my heart which is greater than any treasure I could ever ask for.
I hope one day you follow my footsteps and find me in heaven and we can all be together.
It been fun with you all...see you later...
Sincerely...Jung Hoseok"
