- On Platform 9 and 3/4 -

- Chesca's POV -

I stand on the platform next to Harry, looking at our Uncles. I'm going to miss them.. a lot.

"So, you've got your trunks, pets, money, backpacks and your heads. Looks like you're all set." Uncle Moony chuckles while pulling me in a bone-crushing hug. I hug him back just as tight, if not tighter, before pulling away from him. I pull my wand out and show him as I was keeping it a surprise.

"Its Willow wood, 12 inches, slightly springy flexibility and is the only one in existence with more than one core. It has the hair of a Unicorn, from the same unicorn as the core of my mothers wand, a Phoenix feather, from the same Phoenix as Harry's and Voldy's, and finally a dragon heartstring, from the same dragon as my fathers was. He told me that he expects great things." I explain. All three of them  are silent. "Shut your mouths, you're catching flies." I laugh before giving Uncle Padfoot a huge hug. That's when the tears start.

"Aww Prongslet, don't cry. Your going to see us at Christmas!" Uncle Moony says while stroking my hair. He must think I can't see the tears on his face. We all have a group hug before the train whistle sounds. I run on the train with Harry and hang out of the window so I can wave goodbye. We round the corner and I wander through the train. Harry goes in a compartment with Ron.

"I'm going to find a friend." I tell them before I search the train for a certain blonde. I find him in a compartment with two other boys.

"Hey Lily!" He says as he sees me! I only let him call me that. It's my middle name but I don't mind. I hug him back and we talk for the whole journey.

*Skip Train Ride*

We jump off the train onto the platform below. Draco holds my hand so I don't loose him, and we rush towards Hagrid. I see Harry but he is too busy talking to Ron to notice me. The crowd of us first years begins to move so we move in the same direction as not to get trampled. We come to a giant lake and all hop into boats. I go with Draco, Crabbe and Goyle. We glide over the river and I lean over the boat to look in the water.

"Careful, I don't want you to fall in." Draco chuckles. I didn't listen because merely seconds later I fall over the side of the boat and splash into the water. It's FREEZING!! I try to keep my head above water but my robes are too heavy and I start to sink, Draco's yells growing quieter as I sink further. I frantically try to swim to the surface but my attempts are useless. Suddenly something long and slimy wraps around my waist and pushes me to the surface and back into my boat. I immediately have arm wrapped around me and someone's robes placed over my shivering body. It doesn't do much but I smile none the less.

"Y-you're a f-fortune t-teller D-Draco." I say, still shivering. I earn a glare for my comment. He shouts at his goons to put their robes on me and I smirk at him with my eyebrows raised.

"What? I can't have my new best friend freeze to death can I?" He defends himself. I'm still shivering. The boats come to a stop and I clamber out, the weight of the extra robes on my small frame making that more difficult than it should have been. I stand up straight to be crushed in a hug by Harry. I hug him back, reassuring him I'm okay and push him towards his best friend, Ron. He continues his conversation and I continue mine as we walk into the castle. Draco keeps sneakily glancing at me to check I'm okay. He's sweet. "You're still shivering? Why?"

"I-I d-don't k-know b-but it was b-bloody c-cold in that l-lake. I'm still n-numb f-from the c-coldness." I shiver. He looks at me with wide eyes and wraps his arms around my still shivering frame in an attempt to warm me up. It doesn't work but I like having his arms there so I don't tell him that. We walk up a giant staircase and at the top is a woman in emerald green robes and her hair up in a tight bun. That's probably Minnie.
