i realized that i didn't have my hoodie when i got to the bottom of the stairs. i said bye to chase and walked back up but stopped by lucah's door when i heard ck talking.

"so. lucah. i've known you for like 2 weeks maybe butttttt i like you. i know that you like noen and you only see me as a friend which is why i'm trying to get over it. i just wanted you to know but i promise i'm working on it. i just hope this doesn't affect our friendship."

i heard some shifting on the bed and peered through the cracked door to see them hugging. "it could never. thank you for being honest with me," lucah said. yes yes yes yes yes!! i was so happy. she didn't deny him saying she liked me. maybe i had a chance.

i decided i'd just leave my hoodie there and get it some other time. i left the house as quickly and quietly as i could. when i got out to the street, i looked at the house and saw lucah walk onto her balcony holding my hoodie. i guess she found it. she slipped it over her head and smiled. it was so long on her that it was practically a dress. she looked so cute.
