‘Newly Olympic gold medallist May Tierney was seen having a rather eventful night last night. After the 17 year old had got her medal she had been pictured out with her fellow diving partner ‘Tom Daley’ and his family as well as her own out for a meal in celebration of their victory. But a source has said a passer caught the gold medallist with her dad and Mr Daley caught up with an argument with May’s ‘mum’. May’s mum apparently walked out on May and her dad when she was small as hasn’t been seen since. The 17 year old was caught crying and shouting at her so called ‘mum’ and Daley was close by supporting her in this fight. May and partner Thomas Daley won Gold last night in the 10 meter platform synro but all good things come with a twist though right?.’- Maggie Thompson writer for the sun.

I sighed and placed the paper down away from my face and onto the table. I groaned and placed my face in my hands. After the incident last night Tom walked me back to my apartment ‘to make sure I was safe’ even after I had insisted I would be fine. Katie had found out from Jack who found out from Tonia who found out from Chris who found out from Stace about what happened last night.  Yep news spreads fast in our team. “May don’t worry about it, it will have died down by tomorrow trust me” Tonia said and pulled me into a hug. “I still can’t get my head around it though, that I saw my mum last night and about what she did to me.” I sighed “Awww I know you feel like shit right now but it will get better I promise and it’s the closing ceremony tonight you can’t feel down. And we need to be happy for Chris and Jack today” she smiled. She was right it wasn’t fair to be moody when Jack and Chris are competing today it was their day. “Yeah your right aww bless them were they excited this morning?” I asked while I took a bite of my McDonalds mc muffin. Considering what happened yesterday and with Tom and I winning Gold Katie suggested we went for a well-earned McDonald’s breakfast. “When I saw Jack this morning he was buzzing” said Katie. “And Chris was so hyper h was doing press ups in the corridor before he left, come on let’s get over there” said Tom.

Jack and Chris came 3rd and got bronze medal. They did amazingly and they were defiantly on cloud nine. Jack and Chris were spending time with their family and celebrating; while Tonia and Katie were off somewhere they had asked if I wanted to come but I was quite happy listening to music and texting Tom. He was currently begging me to go over to his apartment because he was bored.

I smiled and placed my phone into my pocket while grabbing my keys. As I walked down the corridor towards Tom’s apartment I got a texted from for Stace:

‘Hey ya, you +me+Tom+Chirs  double date ;) xxx’

I laughed and I decided I would reply later. As I reached Tom’s door I knocked on the door.

“Password” Tom said from the other side of the door “Tom you knob open up” I laughed “Password”  “umm…Mayisthebestandtomyoushouldopenupthedoorotherwiseiwilljustgo” he laughed and opened the door. He leaned against the door fame smiling. I kissed him and walked passed him into his apartment. As I walked in I took in his room, it smelt of him but it was messy wait no messy was an understatement it was horrible, clothes all over the floor socks and t shirts everywhere. “Oh my God Tom it looks like a bomb has hit this place” I said and picked up a sock that was hanging from the telly and chucked it at him. He caught it “It’s not that bad” he rolled his eyes “Anyway Stace came up with this idea of me and you and her and Chris going on a double date maybe next week or something” “Yeah sounds good as I actually haven’t taken you on a proper date yet why don’t me and you go out on Tuesday and then we can go out with Stace and Chris on Friday” I smiled my stomach went nuts “Sounds good” I bit my lip and looked down.  He walked over and tilted my head up so I was looking at him right in the eyes “You have beautiful eyes” he muttered I smiled “You charmer” I winked; he leant in and kissed me.

Tom and I decided to watch a film, the hangover because Tom knew I was one of my favourites, we just sat on his bed cuddled up and kissing. I didn’t notice the time until I heard the door click and heard voices I really didn’t want to hear.
