'Mia...it's my fault...'

Y/N POV

Mia's younger sister Maya came.

So now...we're all talking.

I'm telling them everything I know.

Maya, Phoenix, and I head over to Merlin's house, while Mia stays and watches over the office.

We hop on the train and head to Merlin's.

I put everything in her attic area...maybe we can find some evidence...

We get off and head to her house.

I unlock the door and we enter.

I close the door, locking it, behind us.

We head upstairs and to the attic.

I open the hatch and look around.

So many...memories...

I see framed photo.

I walk towards it.

It's a picture of Lee...and...

Flashback

"This is a photo of my family. That's my younger brother, on the far right...that's my father...that's my mother...and that guy on the far left is me..."

I look at the photo.

They seem like a happy family.

"Can I meet them..?" I ask Lee, looking away from the photo and up at him.

Lee frowns and looks away.

There's a lot of sadness and pain in his eyes.

I regret asking...

"I'm sorry...you don't have to answer if it makes you sad..." I quickly say, not wanting Lee to hurt.

"No...it's alright, Sweet Pea..." Lee says patting my head. He then says,
"You hopefully won't see them anytime soon...They're amazing people, but...they're no longer with us..."

"No longer...with...us?" I question.

"They're dead...they've past...My Mother died from a sickness and my father from grief...My brother died in a car accident..." Lee says, a few tears forming in eyes.

"Do you...blame...yourself?"

Lee's tears fall and, through a pained smile, he says,
"I try my best not to...although I still can't help but think if it's my fault...Still, I try to stay positive...you have to...you have to have hope that tomorrow will be better. That's what my mother always said..."

Lee wipes his eyes.

I hug Lee,
"Please don't be sad..."

I start crying too,
"I don't want you to be sad..."
