"Maes...Maes!" I exclaim, tears streaming down my face as I light shake him to wake him up.
"Please! Please, wake up! Please!"
"Huges! Maes Huges!!!"

I feel my tears stop.
I can't hear anything.
I can't speak anymore.
I feel a hand on my shoulder.
I turn my head and see Maria Ross.

I don't remember what she said...I couldn't hear her...

"Lets go," I say to Roy, walking to the exit.
He nods and checks me out of school.
We head over to the police station as fast as we can.
When we arrive, we immediately head to where they're keeping Ross.
"2nd Lieutenant Maria Ross...May we speak to her?" I ask the police person guarding the door to her cell.
They nod and radio for someone to move her to an interrogation room.
When we enter, she's there.
"I'll let you talk to her first..." Roy says, and leaves me alone in the room with Maria.
I sit down across from her.
She looks up at me.
She then looks back down.
"Why do they think you did it?" I ask look at Maria.
"The gun used to kill Brigadier General Huges was same type and caliber of bullet used by the official military use handgun carried by the 2nd Lt...and...I was recently discharged a single bullet..." Maria explains.
Brigadier General...? Oh yeah...Maes went up one or two ranks after his death...
