"...I'm sorry I couldn't find you..."

Y/N POV

"Kai...What...was your relationship with Mizuko?" I ask, looking at him.

He keeps his eyes on the shrine,
"We were married..."

I look at Kai's hands.

That explains why he's always wearing that ring...it's a wedding ring...

I look at Kai's face.

He looks really sad.

I look at the flowers on the shrine and say,
"I suppose...that's why Mizuko was always wearing that ring...she never took it off..."

Kai's eyes light up...

But go back to normal pretty quickly...

I feel a pain in my chest.

I...I want to see Kai happy...he looks really sad...hmm...

I get an idea.

I close my eyes and take a silent, deep breath.

...I hope this works...

Kai POV

I sigh,
"It's late...we should head to bed, Clem..."

I look at her and see...

Midoriya POV

I sigh and fall back into my bed.

Poor Eri...

Poor Mirio...

He got scolded by Aizawa and Fat Gum...

He was in the right, though...

Y/N is...a villain...

She's probably over with the League or Yakuza now...

They're probably having a meeting about taking over the world...

Y/N, at the head of the table, proposing the idea...

She's crazy...

Eri's probably suffering more because of Y/N...

I wish they'd arrest her already...

I stare intensely at the ceiling.

The Yakuza's daughter...

I then hear a knock on my door.

Kai POV

I can't believe my eyes.

Mizuko sitting right in front of me.

Right where Clem was...

Clementine channeled Mizuko...

Mizuko opens her mouth to say something, but I cut her off by pulling her into a hug.

"...I'm sorry...I'm sorry...I'm sorry..." I mumble, burying my face in her shoulder, soaking her shirt.

I feel Mizuko wrap her arms around me, one hand resting on my head, running her fingers through my hair,
"Long time no see, Kai..."

I continue to mumble that I'm sorry.

"I know...I am too...I tried to go back and apologize...but...I ended up getting kidnapped..." Mizuko explains, resting her cheek on my head.

"...I'm sorry I couldn't find you..." I mumble, holding her tighter,
"...I looked and looked...I never stopped looking...I only slowed down the search because Clementine showed up and I wanted to help take care of her...Then, she told me that Lee died...and you died too..."
