Y/N POV

I head to the coffee shop immediately after school, files hand.

I enter and see Kai.

I take a deep breath and walk over to him.

I exclaim, getting his attention,
"Hey! Kai!"

He turns his head and sees me.

I see him smile under his thin black mask.

I sit down next to him and give him a hug.

He tenses for a split second, but quickly calms down and hugs back.

"So...how've you been?" I ask, starting conversation.

"Okay...you?"

"...it depends...mostly fine..."

"Are the heroes in training that bad?"

I shake my head,
"No...some...are okay...others..."

"You don't like."

"Yeah..."

"Who?"

"Umm...just some people in my class...I'll tell you later..." I say, ending the hug.

I get up and slide in on the other side of the booth.

I immediately start telling Kai everything that happened that I didn't tell him in the letters.

He quietly listens, taking everything in.

I hand him the files and he skims through them.

He closes his eyes for a moment, when I'm finished talking. He then opens them and says,
"I see...For me...I need your help. I'm working on a way to permanently destroy quirks..."

I cut him off before he finishes his sentence,
"I've already done that."

Kai stares at me.

Baffled.

"I haven't come up with a cure...but it's a small project I started working on a while ago...it's an interesting coincidence that you're working on a similar project..." I state.

Kai stares at me,
"Could you make me a few samples?"

I nod, reaching into a hidden pocket in my school uniform skirt.

I take out a case.

Inside are six bullets.

Each with the ability to permanently destroy someone's quirk.

I've already made...a little more than I probably need.

I hand Kai the case.

He opens it and stares at the bullets.
