Taiyaki Ice Cream

Y/N POV

Mama...

"I just remembered something..." I say.

"What is it?" Kai asks.

I tell them word for word.

Stein nods and starts writing more things down,
"That's not exactly what I asked...but it's good to know...What all do you remember about Mizuko...don't strain your mind...just...say what you've already dug up..."

I nod and say everything, word for word.

They both nod.

"I have new OTC (over the counter) drugs for you, Y/N...I just need Rei to sign off on it...I talk to her and call you to come pick it up. Until then, continue taking your current medication..." Stein says.

I nod,
"Okay...got it...Yes, sir..."

I step out of the office while Stein speaks to Kai for a moment.

When he's done, Kai steps out and pulls me into a hug.

"For someone who doesn't like people to touch them...you're very affectionate and touchy yourself..." I mumble, hugging back.

"You aren't dirty or sick..." Kai mumbles.

The hug ends and Kai suggests we hop on the train and head back to get some ice cream.

"What if I just teleported us?" I ask.

Kai stares at me for a moment then says,
"I forgot you learned how to do that...alright."

I take Kai's hand and we exit Stein's building.

I find a shady alley and teleport us into another dark alleyway.

We step out and we're by the coffee shop we were at earlier.

I look up at the sky.

It's gotten late...sunset...

We start walking to an ice cream shop near by.

I find us a booth while Kai gets us some ice cream.

He comes back and hands me mine,
"Here...look what they have."

My eyes widen.

Wow...

I happily take the ice cream and start enjoying it.

It's so yummy...

Kai POV

I sit down across from Clem.

She looks genuinely happy about there being Taiyaki Ice Cream here.

I smile to myself and watch Clementine, occasionally eating my own ice cream.
