Tokoyami POV

After a while of talking, Y/N starts slowly getting more and more tired.

Until eventually, she falls asleep.

I carefully pick her bridal style and stand up.

I then gently lay her down on the bed, pulling the covers over her.

I then carefully lay down next to her.

I pull her into a hug and close my eyes.

I nuzzle my beak into the top of her head.

Goodnight, my love. I hope tomorrow you won't have a heavy weight on your shoulders...I hope you have a happy day. One that you deserve...because you deserve to be happy...

I open my eyes and look at Y/N's sleeping face.

I nuzzle her cheek and whisper,
"Goodnight, my dearest..."

I then close my eyes and soon, I fall asleep.

Y/N POV

I sleepily open my eyes.

What time...?

I feel Tokoyami's arms wrapped around me.

I feel a small smile form on my face.

So warm...

I then remember.

Oh yeah...school...great...

I lightly kiss Tokoyami in the tip of his beak to wake him up.

He opens one eye and looks at me.

"School..." I simply state.

Tokoyami sighs and we get ready for the day.

~Time Skip to Homeroom~

I yawn as I sit down at my desk.

I did not want to come to school today...

I then feel my phone vibrate.

I take out my phone and see that it's an email from Roy.

Major, after school you need to come and help Huges and I with researching hummus.

Hummus? Like...the dip you eat with pretzels?

I type an email back:

I put my phone away.

I then feel it vibrate again.

I take it out and check the email:

Autocorrect. I'm on my phone.
