Tokoyami POV

I exit the restroom.

I heard a lot of noise...

I look around and see a bunch of people cleaning up.

One of the workers notices my confusion and explains,
"The monster was here and...everyone kind of chased them out...They ran away crying..."

My eyes widen.

Y/N...

"Did you see where she ran off to?" I ask, worry evident in my tone.

"I saw you two walk in together...are you her friend?" The lady asks.

I nod,
"Yes, we're in the same class..."

"Oh! You're the hero in training who trained under Hawks for bit..." The lady says.

I nod,
"Yes, but where did Y/N run off to?"

The lady points towards an alleyway,
"I saw her run down there, but...there are a lot of twists and turns..."

I take out my phone to call her.

"If you're going to call her text, it won't work. She left her phone and purse. I snatched them up before the customers could steal them...I have them back here to keep them safe," The lady states.

I sigh.

"I'll be right back...watch her stuff, please..." I say the the worker.

She nods,
"I will."

"Thank you."

I then head out and search for Y/N.

I end up sending Dark Shadow to scout.

After almost an hour and a half, we find her.

I quickly run over to where Dark Shadow spotted her, summoning Dark Shadow back into me.

I turn the corner and see Y/N curled up into a ball...

...in a corner...

...her face hidden...

I quietly walk over to her,
"Y/N...?"

Y/N jumps and looks up at me.

She's crying.

I sit down next to her and pull her into a hug

I sit down next to her and pull her into a hug.

She buries her face into my hoodie.

I hold her close and rub her back.

I then hear a loud boom of thunder and it starts lightly raining.

Y/N moves her and and sees the rain.

"We should...head back...to the dormitory..." Y/N mumbles, attention mainly on the rain.

She then looks around.
