Kai POV

I wake up and look around.

I look at my clock.

It's 2:00...

I sigh and sit up.

I look down at Clementine.

She's still asleep.

I pat her head and get out of bed.

Y/N POV

I open my eyes.

What time...is it...?

I look at Kai's clock.

It's 4:00.

I sit up and look around.

I see Kai writing something at his desk.

I get out of bed and look at what he's writing.

"Go get ready," Kai says to me, looking looking up.

He's really focused on what he's writing.

I look at his face and see that eyes are red and a little puffy...

Like...

He was crying...

I frown and give him a hug.

He hugs back,
"...thanks...Now...get ready..."

I end the hug and nod.

I enter the bathroom and slip into my military uniform.

I exit.

Kai hands me a letter.

Hm?

"I want you to hold onto this...and I want you to open it after the raid..." Kai says, looking down at me.

I nod and put the letter in a safe pocket.

Kai wraps an arm around my shoulder,
"Let's go have breakfast..."

Midoriya POV
At the dormitory...

I finish getting ready.

I will definitely save Eri...

I won't let Overhaul or Y/N stop me...

Let's do this!!!

Kirishima POV

I finish getting ready.

Why...do I feel...so sad?

We're going to save that girl! Eri!

Flashback

"...I don't really like that people keep saying there's something...'off'...with Y/N..." Bakugo mumbles.

"...I...agree...Y/N didn't really have a good childhood...it's irritating...she can't really help it..." Todoroki mutters.

Poor Y/N...

"What? What do you mean? You said something about Y/N's childhood...?" Bakugo asks, surprised.

"It's not my place to tell...but all I'm going to say, since I know Y/N trusts you both, is that Y/N had to run away...and...her biological family isn't the best..." Todoroki mumbles.

I look at the floor with a concerned expression.

That...doesn't sound very good...
