"Hello, my love...How's your day been so far?"

Y/N POV

I grab my paperwork and head to a nearby coffee shop.

I order a coffee and pay.

While waiting for my coffee, I take out my phone and scroll through Pinterest.

I then feel arms wrap around my waist and pull me back.

Tokoyami...?

I turn and see Tokoyami, a small smile on his face,
"Hello, my love...How's your day been so far?"

"It's been okay...yours?" I reply, snuggling into the hug.

Tokoyami nuzzles my cheek,
"That's good...my day has been okay as well, then I spotted you and it's turned into very great..."

I give him a small smile.

Wait...we're in public...

"Hey, Tokoyami..." I whisper,
"...PDA..."

Tokoyami nods,
"Yes...but this coffee shop is pretty empty due to the weird time of day..."

I hum,
"Okay."

I continue to chat with Tokoyami while I wait for my coffee.

When my coffee is ready, I grab it and sit down next to Tokoyami in a booth.

Kai POV

"...No," Toga and Twice say in sync.

"Good," I say, getting up.

"So...can we go now?" Twice asks.

"No. You'll stay here and will not leave until you've gained my trust," I say, turning to leave.

"Where's Clemy?" Toga asks.

"She's out right now," I reply, vaguely.

"Was Clementine the one who corrected you on Big Sis Mange?" Twice asks.

I nod.

"When will Clemy be back?" Toga asks.

"I don't know," I state, looking at them.

They turn to each other.

Twice whispers to Toga,
"Do you think she's somewhere she'll get attacked again?"

"Let's hope not...I don't think she'd like it if she found out about what happened after the mall incident...it was a lot to clean up..." Toga whispers back.

What are they talking about...?

"We should text or call her..." Twice whispers to Toga.

She nods in response and takes out her phone.

Y/N POV

I suddenly get a text.

I take out my phone and see it's from Himiko.

Himiko: We're at Overhaul's base...Are you alright?

Me: Yes, why?

Himiko: Good. We'll see you later.

Hmm...

"Hey, Tokoyami, I should get going...You probably should rest up a lot this weekend, so you can be ready to train some more...We can meet up later," I say, gathering my things.

"...okay. Goodbye, my love," Tokoyami replies, giving one last hug, nuzzling my cheek.

We then part ways.

Kai POV

I try to do my work, but can't focus on it because of what Toga and Twice we're talking about.
