When we arrived at the resort, I returned the earphone back to Jungkook with a thanks and he nodded before we both stood up and got off the bus along with the others.
The fresh, earthy air welcomed me as soon as I stepped outside on the pavement and my mind was easily relaxed. Taking a breather every once in a while like this was truly a necessity.
The resort was a huge one and my mouth slightly opened when I took a long look. It was four storied, had four gazebos in the front of the building, and the decorations made me wonder if this place was built for rich people.
The driver pulled out my mini suitcase from the trunk, placing it among the others', and I walked over to grab it before going to where everyone was gathering for the announcement. Many people were still talking to each other about what they should play during the evening. I, for one, was just looking forward to sleeping early.
"Nain," Hoseok called and came up to me with his clothes bag slung over his shoulder and a huge grin adorning his bright features, the others following from behind but with exhaustion evident in their expressions. Jungkook was the only other person who was smiling as he skipped towards me.
"We just decided on what we should play," the orange haired exuberant man chimed.
"Without me?" I pouted, feeling a bit left out.
"Yeah, sorry dude," Yoongi said with little to no sincerity as he fixed the waistband of his black sweatpants. He was dressed in all black as he usually did for outings like this.
Hoseok, on the other hand, looked like he was going to be on a runway. A coffee brown turtleneck and a baggy military pants hugged his lean body and a dark colored aviator finished his heartthrob looks.
I swear I didn't swoon...
"We're playing 'truth or dare' and 'never have I ever' but with a little twist," Jisoo said, wiggling her eyebrows at me. Joy and her were wearing simple flannel shirts and ripped jeans, but they still looked stylish.
Wait... Truth or dare?
My eyes went to Jungkook beside me and then to the troublemakers before me. Their eyes were already glimmering with mischief and I swore that I would punch anyone who tries anything weird.
I hope no one pulls something stupid during the game...
"Attention teachers!"
We all whipped our heads to the human resource manager as she clapped her hands.
"So the second floor is for men and the third floor for women, and every room has a capacity of three people. Register at the reception to get your key and then settle in your rooms. The lunch will be in approximately an hour later. There will be a bonfire in the evening. Now, off you go!"
"Well then," Yoongi sang, wrapping an arm around Jungkook's shoulder before walking past us, "let's go."
"Yay, we'll be sharing a room," Joy cheered, locking her arms with Jisoo and I. "We used to share a tent before but yeah!"
The three of us laughed together as we entered the resort.
"Bonfire, huh," Jisoo mused as we neared the reception where many others were lining up. "Must be a new event... What would happen?"
"Just a gathering, maybe?" I shrugged. "Singing a few songs and such..."
They hummed, crossing their arms as we waited for our turn.
When I looked around, I saw the boys chatting and laughing together. I was glad to see Jungkook smiling and having fun with those two. They really grew close with each other over the past months.
