"Okay, kids! Tidy up your tables! It's lunchtime."

My children stopped their artworks and scattered all over the room to fix the whole place, yelling and screaming for food.

I watched them for a moment before walking to the door, but abruptly stopped on my track when Jungkook suddenly walked in, carrying a pot of pasta with a cute smile. I moved out of his way and he continued walking until he reached the counter and placed the pot on top of it with a heave.

"I brought your food for you since you're sick," he said, stretching his arms.

"I... You... Thank you..."

His smile grew bigger and he chuckled. "No problem."

My children were all seated around their tables and watched us with curious eyes.

"Ah, right." He walked up to me and handed me a small packet of vitamins from his pocket. "Here. Thought this would help your cold."

My heart was swelling and I felt like breaking down and hugging him tightly. I didn't deserve these sweet gestures for all I did was hurt his feelings.

My cheeks flushed pink and I nodded slowly, thanking him in whispers.

"Waah! Miss Nain is kissing her husband!"

Jungkook and I jumped in shock, stepping away from each other, and looked at the kids with wide eyes.

Who kissed who?!

"That's not her husband! That's her boyfriend!" Yoonji exclaimed, trying to clear the misunderstanding, but making Jungkook even shyer by doing so. "They're not wearing sparkly rings on their hands."

Namseok suddenly stood up and came up to Jungkook. The older one watched the little boy curiously as he fumbled with his pocket and handed him a ring pop.

"Miss Nain is a very beautiful lady, you have to give this to her before other men and marry her!"

With that, the small boy skipped back to his seat with a satisfied grin.

Jungkook chuckled and blushed at the child's adorable words. He stared at the candy, turning it around and inspecting it with a shy smile.

"What are you waiting for? Marry already," one of them exclaimed in exasperation.

These kids...

Jungkook apologized through his laughs and stepped up to my flustered form, tearing the wrapper off and taking out the ring with red diamond shaped candy on it.

He silently took my left hand, bringing it up, and slipped the ring into my finger before showing it to the children who cheered at that.

"They're so cute," Jungkook whispered, giggling.

The corners of my lips tugged upwards and I nodded. They were the cutest in all honesty.

"Now kiss!" Yoonji cheered.

My eyes bulged out and Jungkook's hold on my hand tightened.

The girls squealed in their seats while the boys gasped at Yoonji's words, but they all chanted for us to kiss each other.

"Married couples kiss after they give each other rings!"

But we're not married!

We just went along with their cuteness but now they were going too far.

Jungkook and I looked up at each other at the same time and looked down at our hands again, feeling flustered.

"Mister," Yoonji called, making Jungkook look at her with a smile. "Don't you love her? Why aren't you kissing her?"
