"What does Sandy look like?"

I sighed before printing out pictures of Spongebob characters and sticking them on the board for everyone to see.

"You all watched Spongebob, so you should already know what the characters look like," I exclaimed before pointing at each one and explaining them, teaching them how to draw them.

My children pulled out pencils and started drawing each of their own characters in their respective spots on the tabloid paper.

This was the first competition of the autumn festival week. Each class would draw their favorite cartoon and market it. The children would then cosplay as the characters and perform a show by choosing one episode or multiple episodes on the third day of the festival.

My munchkins were very enthusiastic about it, working together to draw and paint it perfectly. I was more than happy that they were having fun.

In all honesty, not to brag but my class was the most creative class in this kindergarten.

We were obviously going to win this competition.

"Nain."

My eyebrows crashed together when I heard Jungkook's voice calling me from behind. I turned around and it really was him standing at my door.

"What are you doing here, Jungkook?" I walked over to push him out the door. "Didn't anyone tell you that it's forbidden to go to others' classes today? We're competing!"

His eyes widened. "No..."

I shut my eyes before sighing. "Okay, I told you, so leave now or your class might get disqualified if someone sees you."

"But I was just going to ask you if you had any color printers I could use." He pouted, touching his hair. "Since I'm quite new, they didn't place one in my classroom and I can't print the cartoon pictures for my children."

Aww...

I may have been too harsh just now.

"Okay, I'll print it for you," I said and his eyes sparkled. "Just stand outside in the hallway and I'll bring it to you. Which cartoon is it?"

"Looney tunes babies," he chimed, walking away. "Thank you, Nain!"

What...

I froze there with my eyes on the door.

We're so screwed...

Why didn't I remember Looney tunes?

Groaning, I walked back to my classroom and briefly looked at my children continuing their art ever so zealously, adorable smiles on their faces.

Oh whatever, what matters is having fun.

After printing some pictures, I walked out the door where Jungkook was leaning against the wall with his face down.

"Here." I handed him the papers, giving him a smile. "That's a really good choice. Good luck."

He grinned sheepishly, nodding. "Right back at you," and ran back to his classroom.

After finishing the exhibit just before lunchtime, all of my children cheered and screamed in joy, hugging each other, running and jumping all over the place. I cooed internally, watching them celebrate their work which turned out way better than I expected.

"They're going to be artists when they grow up," I chuckled before standing up and clapping my hands to draw their attention.

"Okay everyone, great job on creating such a masterpiece! Now, tidy up the place because it's lunchtime!"
