"So when's the wedding?"

I choked on my potato before coughing uncontrollably as Jungkook patted my back. Yoongi stayed expressionless, continuing to spoon his curry and chomp it down.

"Pardon? We've been dating for only three months now," I roughly strangled out, trying to clear my throat. After regaining my life, I turned to my left for support. "Right, Kookie?"

The man's eyes widened. "Uhh..."

"You've been together for many years, you practically know everything about each other." Yoongi shrugged in front of me, making a valid point, and Hoseok and Jisoo nodded in agreement from either side of him.

"You two are living together now, too," the girl giggled, her doe eyes sparkling with amusement and glee. "I want my godchildren. And fast."

Oh, brother...

I opened my mouth to say something, but nothing flew out and I just sat there with a very confused expression.

"We just wanted to take it slow and let our life flow on its own," Jungkook spoke up, earning everyone's attention.

When I turned to look at him, my heart did a flip, seeing him already staring tenderly at me, a fond smile overtaking his features, sheer love radiating from his gaze.

His hand wrapped mine in his as his eyes softened. "As long as I can love Nain freely, I don't care about anything."

I was in awe, lost in the depth of his eyes that reflected the starry night sky. Even after living together in his house for a while, he never stopped showing me his love, letting me know louder and clearer through every little thing, every little word, every little touch.

I knew he wanted to propose, to make commitments forever. His eyes would slip toward jewelry stores whenever we went shopping. But he decided to let ourselves relish in our life together as is.

We had each other's back for our works, comforted and snuggled each other after exhausting days, supported each other through hardships, and just loved each other with no limits.

Marriage was just a label.

But it was a responsibility that we agreed to put on ourselves after experiencing our youth, exploring the world together, and making crazy decisions, not caring about being wild and foolish.

The love we had was truer than our existence.

"Well, you do you, lovebirds," Yoongi chuckled, looking satisfied with Jungkook's answer. "Just don't come scaring me that you're moving to Egypt and becoming treasure hunters like you did last month. No more of that shit."

"Fyi, it's archaeologists, not treasure hunters," I corrected him but he shrugged.

"What's the difference?"

"By the way, are you a big spoon or a small spoon, Nain?" Jisoo asked. "You always seem like a big spoon but...?"

"A small spoon. Jungkook's a huge one," I answered before taking a sip from my vegetable soup. "Don't be fooled by his cuteness. He almost squishes me to death every single day."

"You're just so cute, Nain, how can I not cuddle you all the time," Jungkook cooed, pinching my cheek, before looking at the man in front of me. "Hyung, I'm curious about you. Are you a big spoon or a small spoon?"

"I'm a knife," Yoongi whispered.

"He's a small spoon," Hoseok cackled while fixing his expensive wristwatch. Yoongi stayed quiet, eating his lunch in silence.
