I woke up on the couch, where I had been laying with Daniel. I look around to realize that I'm the first one up, so I let out a sigh while thinking about what I could do. I saw a basketball ring in Jake's backyard, so I decided to fix my hair and face, brush my teeth, put on something else, and walked towards the backyard.

Basil, Jake's golden retriever, ran towards me and threw his paws all over me, making us land onto the ground.

"Ow!" I silently whisper, not trying to wake anyone up.

"You want to go outside?" I ask Basil while patting him. He started barking.

"Shhh!" I whisper and opened the door to the backyard. After a while of playing basketball all alone, Basil barking at the basketball, I decided to stop and went inside where everybody was still asleep.

Maybe I should make them breakfast? Nah, that'll show that I'm weak. I sighed and went back to the backyard again, grabbing the ball.

"Nice shorts" I heard from behind me. I jumped up and turned around to face Jake.

"Perv" I laugh. I couldn't act the same after I overheard yesterday's conversation.

"Can I join?" He asks me.

"No, I don't like playing with you" I joked. Jake raised his eyebrows.

"What did I do to you to deserve this?" He asks me.

"What did you not?" I ask him.

"Alright, let me play basketball with you, the first to get three points, wins" he says.

"And what does the winner get?" I cross my arms.

"Nothing. The loser will have to jump into the pool naked" he smirks.

"Deal!" I smile, knowing that I wouldn't lose for sure.

I was standing in front of the ring, trying to get my last point. As soon as Jake got distracted by a bee, I quickly shoot my shot and dropped it through the ring.

"Yes! Get naked bitch!" I yell at Jake.

"You're cheating!" Jake says.

"No I'm not" I couldn't help but laugh.

"Did you just cheat on me?" Jake asks me. I quickly shook my head no, as I continued laughing. Suddenly I saw him running towards me, picking me up and walking towards the pool.

"NO!" I yell, while trying to fight back. I flew out of Jake's arms and fell into the water, screaming.

"Son of a bitch!" I yell at him. I get out of the pool and run after Jake. I grabbed his hand and ran towards the pool.

"No way, you're not that strong" he laughed. After 10 minutes of pushing and fighting, he finally fell into the pool. He slipped away, but made sure to grab my hand while slipping, making us both land into his pool.

"I hate you" I tell Jake.

"No you don't" he smiled while grabbing me by my arms and pulling me closer towards him. I stared into his eyes, I couldn't help but stare. He looks so good, and at this point, I felt something in my stomach. As if there were butterflies in there, but there couldn't be. You only get butterflies when you like someone, and I did not like Jake. Our faces were really close to each other. He slowly leaned in while I did the same. I jumped into the air when I heard Basil's earrape bark and looked next to us, to see Isaac, Elijah and Morgan watching.

"Continue! If you kiss I'll get ten bucks!" Isaac happily announces. I quickly get out of the pool and walk towards the door. Without saying a word, I walked past the boys and turned around.
