THIRTEEN

"I'm gone mom! Love you!" I yell as I grab my car keys.

"Bye sweetie, be careful!" Mom shouts back. It was raining really hard, and it was pretty dark outside. I ran towards my car and climbed behind the wheel. I backed up and quickly drove towards Daniel.

Once I got there, I was waiting for Daniel to open the door. And he opened it in five seconds.

"Hi friend" I smile at him.

"Hey" Daniel smiles while giving me a hug. Daniel has been so gentle with me, as if I'm fragile.

I walk in and sat on his couch.

"Water?" Daniel asks.

"You know it" I wink at Daniel. He playfully shook his head and walked towards the kitchen. When he got back he let himself fall onto the couch next to me and started thinking out loud.

"Uhm" he speaks.

"So your crush, huh?" Daniel smirks, making me giggle.

"Stop" I joke.

"Why have you been ignoring him for so long? He won't tell any of us. Not even Mike" Daniel asks me.

"It's pretty complicated, just tell me how to get his attention already" I laugh.

"Well damn" Daniel chuckled. I looked at Daniel and bit my lip. I moved my body closer to his on the couch, making him not break eye contact.

Oh my god, what am I doing?

I stare in his eyes and felt them somehow getting closer. Daniel is pretty cute yes, but I've never seen any guy as hot as Jake. Jake's something else.

As I thought about Jake, I was suddenly kissing Daniel. And I couldn't stop thinking about him.

I tried stopping myself but it didn't work. I slowly stood up from the couch, not stopping our kiss, and sat on Daniel's lap. He moved his hands to my ass and gently grabbed it while kissing me harder.

"Hey sweetheart, I've g- oops!" I heard a female voice speak. I shot up, so did Daniel and we stared at the woman. She looked really pretty and I knew for sure that she was Daniel's mom.

"Thanks a lot" Daniel sighed at his mom.

"Mind introducing me to your friend?" The woman asked with a big smile while staring at me.

"I'm Jayde, nice meeting you!" I smile as I shook her hand.

"Hello dear, you can call me Tina, I'm Daniel's mom. Are you guys like, a thing?" She smirked.

"Mom!" Daniel yells. I started giggling.

"No" I answered her question.

"You should really be, she's really pre-"

"Okay mom you've said enough" Daniel says while grabbing a jacket and handing it to Tina.

"You should go do something fun!" He sarcastically offered.

"Actually, yes I've got things to do. I'll leave you kids to it, have fun!" She smiled while rushing outside. I turned to Daniel to notice his red face.

"I'm so fucking embarrassed" he groans.

"That's what parents do" I smile. Daniel grabs his cigarettes and walks to the backyard. I followed him. He was leaning against the wall, lighting up his cigarette, so I went to stand next to him.

It had been two quiet minutes, until he started speaking.

"You need to show him that you want to be with him" Daniel says. It shocked me that he was giving me advice since he kissed me a minute ago.
