Jake came to sit next to me on a little bench. He didn't say a word, he didn't even look at me. It felt like hours, and even tho it wasn't that cold outside, I was freezing to death.
"So..." Jake sighs.
"Daniel, huh?" He asks.
"What?" I ask back.
"Daniel knows a lot about you" Jake looked down. I rolled my eyes while staying silent.
"Who's this Luke anyway?" He asked me. I took a deep breath and looked at Jake.
"It's a really long story" I sigh while looking at the stars.
"I've got all the time" Jake says while standing up, grabbing a cigarette and lighting it up.
"We had sex one time, but I was really drunk after he kept feeding me alcohol. I told him that I didn't like him like that, and it was a mistake. I ended up dating one of his friends, which I had a crush on. But Luke didn't seem to like any of it- so-" I stopped telling my story and started crying.
"The guy I use to date is still in my heart Jake, he-" I covered my face.
"He died?" Jake asks me. I nodded while crying even louder.
"It h-happened a year a-ago. A guy had never been t-that nice to m-me. All guys ever wanted m-me for was for, you k-know. One day, Luke wouldn't l-leave me alone, so Jace went to his h-house and d-died. I feel so guilty, it's all my fault. If I hadn't d-"
"It's not your fault" Jake tried comforting me.
"And you don't have to be scared, it's 9 against 1. He'll never win. And we're here to protect you" Jake smiled at me.
"He's dangerous, Jake, he found me. I thought he finally disappeared, but he's still here. He came here for me, and god knows what he's up to" I sigh. Jake stared at me while wiping my tears away with his thumb.
"Don't worry about it, I'll tell the boys about it, and you won't have to be scared of him anymore" Jake says.
"But if he knows where I live, then he probably knows how many of you there are, he's probably got some sick plan-"
"Jayde, I can get a whole army of 400 guys with even guns if I needed to. Stop stressing. I got this, okay?" Jake comforted.
"But Jace tried protecting me too, and he ended up dead"
"Jace went there alone" Jake says.
"And how come he's not in jail?" Jake crossed his arms.
"Because police couldn't find evidence that it was done by Luke" I annoyingly speak. I get really mad thinking about it. Jace hadn't done anything wrong. He didn't deserve this.
I know this may be weird, but now while I'm thinking about it, Jace and Jake kind of shared a lot in common. They had the same eye color, hair color, their tattooed sleeves even looked alike.
"Well, you don't have to worry about it. We kicked Luke out of the house and the boys'll make sure that he won't get inside that easily. Do you want to go join the others?" He asks me. I shrug while looking around me. It was really dark here, and it scared me a bit knowing that Luke and I shared the same location.
"If you want to get ice cream somewhere, I'll be fine with that too" Jake smiled.
"Are you asking me on a date Jakey?" I joke.
"Nah, just asking if you want ice cream" he chuckles.

I was happily eating my chocolate vanilla ice cream while we were sitting inside of a small kinda restaurant. Jake wasn't really eating his mango ice cream, he was playing with it as if he's ten.
