TWENTY FIVE

I look around me and quickly make my way towards Aiden. I tap him in the shoulder, making him turn around.

"What's up Jay" he smiles.

"Hi! Could you do me a favor pretty please?" I pout, making him smile.

"For you always" his laugh was so bright, it was really cute.

"Can you find out where Luke lives?" I ask him. He closes his locker and looks around him, bringing his lips closer my ear.

"You mean the same guy Jake keeps asking me about?" He whispers.

"What? He asked you about him?" I whisper back.

"I have his address, I just highly recommend you to take someone with you. I could join you if you need someone?" He asks me.

Of course not! The whole point of this is to show how I can handle things all by myself.

"Yeah yeah, give me his address" I command.

"I'm gonna go to class. I'll text it to you in about ten minutes" he promises me. Just like that, he walks off. I happily started to walk towards my class when I nearly had a heart attack by the voice behind me.

"No fucking way" I hear Daniel loudly say. I sigh as I turn around.

"You went to Aiden? And now? What's your plan now?" Daniel crosses his arms.

"Ugh, you wuss! You guys are a bunch of pussies, it's not like he'd kill me, he likes me" I explain.

"You clearly don't know what you're doing. I'm coming with you" he says.

"No you are not! I can handle this on my own, Daniel"

"Listen up, I've been nice to you for very long, don't make me angry because that would honestly break my heart. I won't tell Jake, but I will have to come with you. Otherwise, I swear I'll send a whole fucking army. It's up to you" he calmly says. Damn. He's just, different.

"Fine. Pick me up at 9. Wear black!" I furrow my brows at him, making him chuckle.

"You're cute" he smiles while throwing an arm over my shoulder.

I don't want this moment to end yet.

"I can't remember the last time we had dinner like a proper family" my dad happily smiles as he took a bite of my mom's made spaghetti.

"Yesterday we could've but you guys were gone" Cameron says as he rolls his eyes.

"We're sorry kids. You're right, we do need to spend more time with each other" my mom tells us.

"Maybe we should go bowling this weekend?" Mom asks.

"No! Sorry, I've got to go to a party" I quickly say. My dad suspiciously looks at me.

"Again? Don't you think you party too much?" He asks.

"Let the kid live! I'm happy for you sweetie, we can go whenever you kids are available" mom smiles.

"What were you up to last night, Jayde?" Cameron smirks. He must've heard my moans.

"Busy doing homework, you?" I smirk back.

"Same thing as you" he again smirks.

"This is probably a twin thing" my dad chuckles.

"Oh! Daniel will be picking me up later today. We're gonna go to the mall together" I make up.

"Who is Daniel?" My mom smirks.

"Probably the guy that helped her do her homework yest-" I cut Cameron's sentence off by kicking him under the table.
