I'm so sorry I haven't updated!! It was really hard to find a good way to end this chapter, so I kept writing until I found a nice spot! I hope you like it!!

Taylor's POV

"Taylor... Taylor... We're here. C'mon we gotta talk to your dad." I felt a light push on my shoulder.

I fluttered my eyes opened, looking at an enormous castle.

"Woah. My father lives here?" I was gawking at the majestic home in front of me.

"Well he is the King of Wolves." Jase said matter-of-factly.

We walked to the door and I noticed that it was guarded by two burly men.

"Who is she." One of the men said. He eyed me up and down in an intimidating way. It made me a little uneasy but I hid it well.

"She's King Nikolai's daughter. Now get out of the way." Jase said impatiently.

The guards opened the doors and bared their necks to me. I did a little curtsy and rushed through the doors.

"A curtsy?" Jase asked.

"Hey I didn't know what to do okay man? Just take me to my father. Please." This is my first time ever being in a castle. I don't know what to do!

"Jase? Is that you?" A lady walked by. A little taller than me. Maybe in her thirties.

"Hello Luna." He bared his neck to the lady. "Do you know where King Nikolai is? We need to speak to him." She turned her gaze towards me.

"Why does she need to speak with my mate?" Wait this woman is my step-mother?!

"You're my father's mate?!!" I yelled. She immediately did a double-take on me.

"You're Taylor? I thought you weren't supposed to come until Saturday." The lady exclaimed.

"Change of plans. It's pretty urgent." Jase said impatiently.

"He's in his office. Follow me." We walked down a long corridor for what seemed like forever.

"So.. What's your she name?" She asked.

"Taylor. Taylor Blackwell." She stopped in her tracks. Of course, my name would trigger a reaction from her. Apparently the name Blackwell is like a curse word.

"You mean the royal vampire family 'Blackwell'?" I nodded my head with a light smile.

"But you don't smell like a bloodsucker." The lady pointed out.

I held out my left hand wiggling my fingers to show her the wedding ring on my ring finger.

She shaped her mouth in the form of an "o" and we continued moving.

"So, what's your name?" I tried to break the ice with this woman, but she seemed like she didn't trust me.

"They call me Luna." She answered her back still facing me.

"But don't only pack members call you Luna?" She nodded. "Well since I'm not in this pack, I won't call you that."

I should tell she was peeved at my stubbornness, but quite frankly I didn't care. I saw Jase smile a little bit.

"Just call me Lydia then." I smiled triumphantly.

The rest of the walk was utter silence. All I could hear was Lydia's heels click-clacking against the marble floor.

We stopped at some tall doors. The Lydia gently knocked on the door. This lady was really pushing my patience. I barged right through the door.

"Nikolai, we need to talk." I noticed he was in the middle of a phone call, I felt a little bad for interrupting. I guess it was better to knock..
