Merida had come by to pick up Mark about maybe an hour ago, he could barely keep his eyes open then, it was quite adorable actually. Basically, what had happened was, Mark, being my little savior from a certain rabbit, was rewarded with ice cream floats!- Let's just say, Merida ended up scolding me since little Marky finally had a sugar crash, passing out in the car.. And, I don't know what had possessed me to do it but, I had given him the plush. He seemed happy about it, which isn't too bad, he had squealed and hugged it close..

I was definitely bored after the two had left, and still was when Glitchtrap had decided to appear again. And, now, here I am, sitting on the couch, having a staring contest with mentioned rabbit. How did it come to this? My eyes began to squint as they watered, but I forced them to stay open, refusing to lose to this rabbit, who only seemed amused with my struggles. "C'mon, (Y/N), you know you aren't going to win. It's just sad now." Glitchtrap chuckled, calmly staring into my eyes, victory already shining within his own smug gaze.

"No! I will win!" And, then, my eyes proceeded to blink.. Right after I had been so confident as well.. "God damn it.." I muttered underneath my breath, Glitchtrap bursting out into laughter at my lost. I rubbed my dry eyes, starting to wonder why I was being friendly to this bunny.. He has done horrible things, I'm sure of it, and, here I am, playing around with him.. My brows furrowed as I frowned at myself, looking down, "So.. Why did you return..?" I questioned after his laughter finally quietened, "Hm? Am I not allowed into your house, Kitten?"

My expression became blank from the cheeky comment, looking back at him, slightly annoyed, "How come no one else besides me can seem to see you?" His expression became slightly amused once more from the question. "Ah, so you've noticed, glad you're not a dull one..." I glared at him and narrowed my eyes, holding back from smacking that stupid grin off his face, "Well, to put it in the most simplest way possible, I can choose who can see me and who can't. You have been the only one I've allowed to so far." I pursed my lips before opening them to speak, only to be interrupted by knocking.

Glitchtrap seemed to be disappointed, a glare being directed towards the door. For some odd reason, I feel like Glitch knew someone was coming? I sighed and stood, walking over to the front door, opening it and being met with two police officers. My eyes widened before I slowly and nervously looked back to Glitchtrap, who was still here, surprisingly.. I tensed when the woman spoke, "Ma'am, are you (Y/N)?" Why are they looking for me? I stared at them in slight confusion before slowly nodding, attempting to shake off the nervous pit in my stomach, "Y-Yes Ma'am.. W-Why are you asking for me?.."

The two shared a look, the same one that I had been previously speaking to sending me a pitiful look. "(Y/N).. Do you know Merida and Mark Hills?.. If so.. They happened to have been in a car wreck just thirty minutes ago.." My eyes grew wide in both fear and shock, a wave of despair crashing painfully down onto me. I could only just manage to sputter out, "W-What?" Tears swelled in my eyes before I even fully processed it, gasping almost forcefully. "A-Are they alright? Where are they? H-How did you know to find me and w-why?" I was, by now, rambling, tears trailing down my face as I willed myself to not have a panic attack.

After speaking nonsense for quite some time, the woman finally spoke again, her words just barely reaching me, "They're in the hospital just down the street.. Mark, the young one I believe, has minor wounds. Merida.. From what I heard.. Is.. Barely holding on. We overheard someone saying the little one was muttering your name while he was unconscious. We decided it was only right to find you.." It was becoming hard to breathe at this point, the tears felt like acid burning my cheeks as they fell. The door suddenly slammed shut, Glitchtrap was now standing in front of me..

I couldn't hold it anymore, I slammed down onto my knees, the force of it sending a small jolt of pain through me, sobs escaping me. "N-No.. No.." I cried out repeatedly, my body shaking violently, wishing this was just a horrible, terrible nightmare. They have to be fine, right? Am I overreacting? I need to see them.. I could barely make out Glitchtrap kneeling down in front of me, my gaze blurred with tears. "(Y/N).." He softly mumbled, pulling me into a hug and I hugged back, not caring at this point that he might've been the one who killed my sister..

Who am I kidding, most likely was the one who committed the murder. I was too overcome in grief.. Stuck in the fear of losing someone else I love... I just needed comfort.. He stood, holding me carefully within his arms while I clutched onto his vest, sobbing uncontrollably. I only knew he had returned us to the couch when he had sat down on it, placing me on his lap. He continued to hold me close as my sobs gradually became quieter, starting to become too tired to continue. "Shh... That's it.." He rubbed my back and whispered to me in such a caring way, it made me wonder why I ever thought he murdered my sister..

Was it because he seemed very.. Familiar the first time I saw him? Maybe it was his voice. Strangely reminding me of my dream..
