"I love you too."

~~~~~~~~~
Instead of waking cold and alone like before, I woke to a warmth around me. He had his head pressed into my neck, his soft breath tickling it. I still don't understand how he's breathing. Glitch let out a soft annoyed groan when a knock came to the front door, pressing closer to me. I snickered, softly blowing against his ear, more to annoy him than anything. I also need to get the door, I suppose. "(Y/N).. Don't test me now." He grumbled out, sounding as if I had genuinely woken him from a nap. I grinned, blowing at his ear once again, only to let out a squeak when I felt a small sudden pain at my neck.
Eh- Did he really just- "Alright, Mr. Grumpy buns, now I'm definitely moving." I huffed out, ignoring the warmth that enclosed my face from him nipping at me. How did we manage to sleep on the couch anyway? Oh wait.. Nevermind. Crying does make someone much more tired. I'm not sure why, but I was feeling a little grouchy now, and I think Glitchtrap picked up on it. "Am I the grumpy one or is it you?" He chuckled out, pulling his head back to press our noses together, a grin plastered on his muzzle. "That blush on your face shows you did enjoy that little bite.~"
I huffed before raising my hand to push his head aside, my blush darkening despite how I willed it not to. "Shush you, honey buns, I need to check the door!" I squirmed out of his grasp before rolling off to stand, having to stretch out due to my sore body. I slightly jumped at the sight of the rabbit suit I had almost forgotten about, namely the head. "That rabbit head just scared me." I groaned out, squinting my eyes when I heard Glitchtrap snickering. I looked back at him to childishly stick my tongue out before heading over to the door, opening it to look outside.
I paused when I was met with an empty space, looking around before I eventually looked down. My nose scrunched up upon landing on a note, before I knelt down to grab it. How did it escape my mind I have a strange lady and a second Glitch stalking me. I literally just looked at that stupid suit they made me. My eyes rolled, now knowing why I was starting to become irritated. "I really don't want to deal with any of this." I sighed, taking a step back to close the door, lightly jumping when I bumped into Glitch. I huffed, tilting my head back to gaze up at him and was greeted with his grin.
"Let's read it together, I suppose." I mumbled, letting out a momentarily surprised squeak when he scooped me up into his arms. "Read on, I just want to get comfortable again." He hummed out as he walked back over to the couch, settling down onto it as he pressed his head into my neck again. I chuckled softly from him nuzzling me, which did end up comforting me some. I ripped open the envelope that had 'From: Vanny' written on it. Unfolding the paper within, I began to read it out loud, "Hello again, I hope you enjoyed the last gift you received. As stated before, we do not like waiting long. So we're expecting you to come here. Don't forget your suit."
I raised my brows from the sight of coordinates, reaching out to grab my phone. My curiosity is what drove me into typing it into search, my brows raising in surprise once the result came up. "It just shows some building under construction. By.. Fazbear entertainment." It looks like it's mostly being kept under wraps, like it's supposed to be a surprise or something. What are they going to do with that rebuilt Freddy Fazbear's then? I bit my lip from my thoughts before shifting my gaze back to the letter. "We better see you there.. We wouldn't want.."
My breath hitched as my eyes grew wide, yanking myself out of Glitchtrap's arms to grab the keys for the car. Glitch was staring at me in confusion when I turned back. "We need to go to the hospital. Now." Those mother fucking.. They better be okay. No one threatens Mark or Merida. The only family I have left. Glitch seemingly caught onto what was happening, because he was trying to reassure me as we headed out the door, "I'm sure they're fine, it could be an empty threat. How would they manage to take them from the hospital?" His words did help some, but that didn't stop me from rushing to my car.
I was already driving off by the time Glitch got situated, which caused him to place his hands on the dashboard to steady himself. "Whoa whoa, (Y/N), don't drive so fast!" He seemed genuinely surprised by how hard I was pressing onto the pedal. I ignored his words, arriving quickly at the hospital with, luckily, no incident. I parked the car before opening the door to step out, flinching when I felt something hit me. I looked down in time to see the keys hit the ground, blinking momentarily before I gazed over at Glitchtrap. Huh, I almost forgot the keys. His expression was knitted in worry and what seemed to be irritation.
"Listen, my love, I know you're worried, but you shouldn't put yourself in danger just because of that. Merida and Mark wouldn't want you to get hurt in the process of wanting to check on them." I frowned before slowly reaching out to grab the keys. I knew he was right, but I was just too frightened by the idea of them getting harmed. "I just don't understand why they can't leave us alone." I muttered out as my eyes began to water, finding the situation to be too stressful for me. I wiped my eyes as I closed the car door, starting to head toward the hospital.
Glitchtrap didn't take long to catch up to me and brought me into a hug, pressing his head into my neck. I didn't care if it looked strange, I turned and wrapped my arms around him in return. He pulled back from my neck to rest his head on top of mine. "I don't even know how they found out about them.. And I feel even worse knowing I haven't been visiting.." My voice shook as I spoke, pressing my head into his chest as he began to rub my back. I was willing myself to not cry, wishing I wasn't being so sensitive. "Shh, it's okay, let's head on inside to calm your fears. Alright?"
I sniffled before nodding, reluctantly pulling away from our hug before turning to head into the building. I knew he wasn't too far since he was still close enough for me to sense his warmth. I frowned upon seeing the receptionist was the same as before, and she scoffed as I walked over. "What are you doing here again? Your friends checked out earlier." My heart dropped, definitely not the first thing I had wanted to hear. "What.. What do you mean they checked out?" I leaned toward Glitch when he placed his hand on my back, as if to steady me.
Did they get them? My phone began to ring just as I sunk further into my negative thoughts. A relieved sigh escaped me when I brought out the device and saw Merida's caller ID. Maybe she is fine after all. Maybe she had just gotten out and was waiting to tell me so she could adjust? I took in a deep breath to calm myself, taking comfort in the soft words Glitch was mumbling to me. Maybe I knew I shouldn't have gotten my hope up so much. My hope was demolished the moment I answered the phone and held it up to my ear. The voice I hadn't wanted to hear whispered through the device,
"You know where you need to go. Don't take long now."
