"Who the hell.. No, what the hell.. Was that?"

~~~~~~~~~~
I stared at the other with my lips pressed together in a thin line, unsure of how to respond. She.. Knows too much. There was that thought again, gnawing at my brain. It made me feel unsettled just thinking of what it could've been suggesting. I began to turn without a sound, my attention locked on the staircase. Escaping the situation is the easiest, albeit somewhat cowardly, choice here. I noticed her gaze following mine, seemingly realizing what I was about to do. "(Y/N)! You can't just try to leave my question unanswered! Or.. Or, so help me, I will get the police involved!"
I froze from her words, a mixture of annoyance and slight fear sparking through me. She doesn't seem like the kind of person to head to the police. I mean, look how long it took her to tell me about her brother. But, still, I don't want to risk it.. I sighed and reluctantly turned to face her again, narrowing my eyes in frustration. "First off, you said it correctly at first, he's a 'who' and not a thing. He's a living, believe it or not, breathing being. Secondly, his name is Glitchtrap. To make a long story short, he's a mascot rabbit that came from the pizzeria, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza."
You know, left out the part where he's from a videogame. Don't need to confuse her that much yet. As if she isn't confused already. I snorted softly from the thought before focusing back on her. Rosie hesitantly asked, "How.. Is he.. You know, alive?" Ah, the big, hard to answer, question. All I could do in response was lift my shoulders up into a shrug. "That's something I'm not sure how to answer, because I don't know. Now, I believe we should just wait for Sir angry rabbit to return." I turned and began to swiftly walk toward the staircase before she could reply, having no intention on talking about Glitch behind his back.
...........................................
How long has he been gone? What is he doing? What's taking so long? I paced around the living room, my brows knitted together as my gaze drifted toward the front door every now and again. I knew he didn't have to use it, but it kept my gaze moving. Rosie mentioned she lived with Richard a few minutes ago, so why didn't she try to tell me about his stalking sooner? I felt anger erupt within my chest, glancing over at said girl, my eyes slightly squinting suspiciously. Speaking of which, why hasn't she left yet? She does realize when I said to wait for Glitch, she didn't have to actually stay? Even if she lives with Richard and can't go home, how can she possibly be comfortable staying here?
As if sensing my gaze, Rosie turned to look at me, a brow raised curiously. "Yes? Do you need something?" I blinked, turning my gaze away and clearing my throat to speak, "Ah, nothing.. Well, actually, I'm just wondering why you haven't yet left." At that, she smiled, and I'm not going to lie when it made me feel a little disturbed.. She does understand what's happening right now, right? How can she still smile at me? "Well, one, I can't go home because who knows what's happening there." I know. "And, two, I wanted to talk to Glitchtrap more." I was stumped for a moment, Talk more to the rabbit that.. Basically, threatened her? Well, not threaten but, still-
I must've made a face at that, because Rosie then continued, "Now that I'm not cowering in fear and thought it through, he seems like a very.. Interesting being to get to know. It's not often you get to talk to a supernatural rabbit, after all." Huh.. Was not expecting that. I gave her a small shrug before hesitantly nodding in agreement. I suppose I've just gotten used to being around him. "If you say so, Rosie.." I muttered, freezing when I heard a noise come from the front door, like a thud of some sort.
I began to carefully approach it, realizing it sounded like someone tripped and hit my door. The package suddenly came to mind. Did.. Did someone try to take it, only to fall? God, how I hoped that was true. But, I knew I was wrong when I heard screaming through the door, causing me to halt in my movements. The voice was familiar.. What the actual living hell? Is that.. Richard? How did he get all the way down here? Did he run? Suddenly, a loud bang of some kind sounded through, my heart jumping to my throat. It wasn't one of a gun, in fact, I couldn't even place what it was..
I tensed from the sudden silence that followed, looking over at Rosie, who slowly became pale. "W.. What the..?" I decided to retreat to the couch, planting down on it and bringing my knees up to my chest. Am I pale now too? I was even more nervous now as I waited for Glitchtrap, who I'm certain is the cause of what ever happened to Richard. I stuffed my face into my legs, trying my best to stay calm and unnerved. I failed as soon as a hand landed on my shoulder, my head jerking up to look at the owner of it.
I was quite surprised to be met with Glitchtrap, even more so to see a warm and proud smile on his face. Huh? Why did I feel like smiling from the face he was making? I couldn't resist and I smiled up at him, earning a larger one in return. Then, he scooped me up into his arms and held me close, a purr rumbling from his chest when I buried my head into it. I did it on reflex-.. Much to my surprise, he leaned down and pressed his muzzle into the crook of my neck, causing warmth to spread to my cheeks from the action. But, it soon faded when I heard him whisper, "He won't ever watch you again." A shiver ran up my spine before I gulped, inhaling to speak, "Glitch..
What have you done..?"
