"I was following her. No, no, I mean... There was another me following her.."

I froze, unable to process what he had just told me for longer than I'd like to admit. "What..?" He looked panicked now, his gaze moving back in the direction the other woman went, his eyes widening. That isn't comforting. Nervously, I slowly peeked, feeling my heart stop from seeing her starting to make her way back to us. "Quickly.." He began to push my tense body in a different direction, and I allowed him, confusion holding my body still. He began to speak in a hushed, hurried tone, as if someone other than me might hear him, "You're probably desperately confused, my dear flower.."
When I didn't reply, he continued, bringing us to a stop in a strangely empty room he had managed to find, "Well, you see.. I used to be a.. Part.. Of a game. I was accidentally created, I was.. Am, a glitch. I was trapped until I later managed to escape into the real world through a beta tester.. You got any of that?" I slowly nodded even though I was still trying to even make sense of what he had said. I already knew he was some part of supernatural, but it's just bizarre that this is how he was created. Though, his name makes more sense now.. Much more sense instead of something he had randomly made up..
His shaky voice brought me from my thoughts, even having sparked some worry from me, "I believe I'm not the only one out there now.. There were many copies of the game created, therefore.. There were many copies of me created." My mouth became suddenly dry at the news, "M-More..?" It was the sound of someone else's footsteps that made us both freeze again. "Yes, and I don't think this other me has the best intentions, hide quickly.." He was dragging me again before he even finished his sentence, gently pushing me down and under a table, the white cloth draped on it providing more cover.
I felt my breathing become more ragged the closer the footsteps got, another set adding onto them. Then, it was silent, the only noise I heard being Glitchtrap sharply inhaling. Suddenly, I heard the woman from before muttering something before speaking louder, "Where's the girl at?" Her voice mixed with someone else's, someone who sounded eerily familiar. "Why do you want to know? Who are you? What do you want with her?" Silence.. And then, giggling, excited giggling. "Well, she's just like me! We both have to follow our Glitchtraps, our Aftons." She seemed to be swooning over them now, and I couldn't help but peek underneath the white cloth, only slightly lifting it up. Who the hell is Afton?
My heart froze when she spoke again, "I know where she is. I just saw her.." Then, I was pulled out quite roughly, my eyes widening when they landed on a familiar bunny head. But, I knew it wasn't him. He doesn't stare at me with this much malice. The other Glitchtrap must've slipped past him while he was talking to the woman. And, I knew it to be true when I heard my Glitchtrap release an angry shout. "You have your own host! Don't touch mine!" It was strange, quite frankly, to see two of them and one of them pulling the other away from me.
Before I knew it, I was trapped securely in the fuzzy arms I was used to. I looked up at the rabbit holding me, his face contorted in a glare as he growled at the other two. "Leave, we want no part of any of your plans." The woman looked quite disappointed before she sighed, looking at the other rabbit by her own side. Then, she brought out a small notebook, writing something on a page and tearing it out. She began to walk towards us, causing Glitchtrap to tighten his arms around me and growl louder. "If you change your mind.. Which you will. Contact me."
She shoved the paper into my hand before retreating back to the door, winking back at me. "See you later, darling.~" Her voice once again mixed with a deeper voice. That's Glitchtrap, alright.. Then, she and the other rabbit were gone, leaving us two in silence. I slowly looked down at the paper in my hands, noticing she had written a set of numbers on it. "She.. Gave me her phone number." I got no response from him, other than him suddenly planting his head on top of mine.
I could hear silent shaky breaths escaping him, as if he were trying to calm down. "I.." He began softly, pulling me closer, "I felt scared.. I thought.. I was about to lose you.." My eyes widened, my gaze flicking back up to him. "Oh, Glitch.." I mumbled before he interrupted me, his gaze remaining away from me. "We have to leave. Now. Let's go." He pulled away, his hand wrapped around mine as he began to pull me along. It was silent between us while he led me back to the front doors. The screams and laughter of the children sounded unnerving to me now.
When we stepped outside, I took a deep inhale of fresh air, pausing when I noticed a familiar figure standing there. "Hey, Richard.." I saw relief flood over his expression as he turned to look at me. This caused Glitchtrap to tighten his grip before releasing my hand, my gaze momentarily looking up at him. "(Y/N)! I'm glad you're alright! There were so many people in there!" He exclaimed, walking over to me, sighing quietly. I couldn't help but notice the now missing purple car, Was that hers? "I think that was enough excitement for today, huh?" He joked, bringing me out of thought, and I could only nod in agreement. It sure was..
"Let me take you home now, alright?"
