FLORENCE STOOD CLOSE TO KAKASHI. So close infact, that the two's hand grazed. Nervous she shifted to wrap her fingers around his.

The lazy eyed jounin tilted his head and looked at her from the corner of his eye. She almost looked different to him, but not quite. Florence was still the same Florence even after they kissed.

It had been a stagnat week, nothing significant having happened, not even another kiss (much to the two's dismay).

Old man Hokage sat at his crescent shaped desk intrigued. A wooden pipe hung from his lips and an occasional smoke ring would be expertly blown.

"Let's ease you into the idea of being a ninja" Sarutobi flicked through some papers on his desk before leaning back. "You can go on Kakashi's genin squads next mission as a supervisor".

The light haired girl felt her heart pound with anticipation. There was no going back now. With a nod she let go of Kakashi's hand and exited the room.

"What do you think Kakashi?" He asked, looking in the spot where Florrnce had stood only moments ago.

The jonin scratched his head, "I don't know". That statement was true. He didn't know what to think.

It would the next day before Florence was called back to the Hokage's office. That day was spent with wired nerves and the whole hospital staff made to point to keep disdance.

Florence wasn't usually like this (arguably).

"Are you ready for your first mission?" Kakashi whispered. The two, accompanied by his team had just finished another weed picking mission.

Now they all stood waiting for another mission, mostly embarrassed as the blonde knucklehead- Naruto fought for a more eventful task. Though secretly the squad was thankful becuase pulling  weeds was growing more boring everyday.

"You mission is simple, just escort Taunza" a equally old but drunken man swayed little in the back corner. "To the land of the waves".

Florence looked to man, he made her uneasy.

"Florence will be accompanying you" the Hokage continued, glancing at her warily.

With a flushed face she turned to the three genin with a polite wave, "nice to meet you". They all with the exception of Sasuke waved back. The tiny motion made her feel more comfortable.

Almost an hour later and the new kunoichi made her way to the villages gates. When she left the house Kakashi was napping so it could only be assumed the man would be- as usual- late.

Florence however thought the best course of action would be to accompany her little genin kids and keep them company. Maybe even get to know them.

"Hello" she waved, a pleasant closed eye smile spreading. "I'm Florence" her hand fell to rest flush on her chest.

"Are you becoming part of our squad?" Naruto asked with kinder energy. The question seemed to peek the Uchiha's attention to as his head shifted towards them.

"Well" Florence started, moving to sit on a nearby rock. "I already I have job so I'm not really planning on quiting it". The reply slightly saddened the blonde.

"What do you do Florence- San?" It was Sakura who spoke, nearing the rock only to sit next to the seafoam haired woman.

Even upon first meeting her the pinkette had come to like her, she seemed nice to say the least.

"I'm a medic ninja" she activated her chakra, a yellow glow encasing her hand like a shimmering glove. The chakra fluctuated around her hand almost like honey.

"It's yellow?" Sakura asked confused. The standard medical ninjutsu technique was green.

Florence slightly giggled, sending a wink her way, "that's cuz it's my jutsu".
