He would watch her from the corner of his eye though his observations did nothing to crack into the womans mind.

"Are you just just going to keep watching me?" Florence crossed her arms, slightly pulling away from him. Irritation laced her voice.

After a moment the light haired woman sighed, rubbing her forehead. "I'm fine". She could sense his unspoken question.

Well, she certainly didn't act fine. Kakashi watched as she quickened her pace, peeling away from him. He only watched stupidly.

Florence felt like a leech.

She had shoved her fist through a boys chest, felt his bodies warth recede and watched him die. The medic didn't even know his name.

What's worse is the way it had made her feel, the power which coursed through her veins a sort of adrenal high unfelt in her life. It was horrible, and she felt horrible for not deterring on her path to be a ninja

Florence anxiously bit at her thumb nail, brows furrowing.

The woman glanced to her other hand, eyes catching onto dried specks of blood which latched on her hands wrinkles. That nameless boy deserved better.

Florence's mind reeled, she had devoted her life to saving lives, why was that so easily destroyed? Why was life so undeniably playing favorites? It wasn't fair.

"Are you okay Florence- sensei?" The pink haired, doe eyed girl peered up at the older woman. Sakura had accidentally knocked elbows with her and caught the distraught look on the medics face.

For a second Florence stayed silent, locked in though. "Huh?" She finally answered, snapping away, "yea" she smiled, "don't worry". A few seconds later her face receded back into a stale frown as she walked away.

Though the girl wasnt fooled by the poor facade. She turned to Sasuke who was slowly trying to disdance himself from everyone.

The Uchiha rolled his eyes as Sakura neared.

"Do you think Florence is ok?" She twirled a strand of hair between her fingers, fluttering her eyelids in front of her crush.

Sasuke scoffed, "it's none of our business". It wasn't, something seemed off about the woman to him, but it was nothing to him. Why should he care?

Hurt, Sakura nodded, holding her hands close to her heart. She had only wanted to help. Lowering into silence the pinkette looked to the ground, watching her feets as the group walked on.

The journey back to Konoha was slow and the squad of five seemed dislocated.

Finally the light haired woman caught sight of the tall standing village gates. She turned to Kakashi, resting a hand on his sholder, "are you good to talk to the Hokage if I go somewhere?" A soft kiss pressed against his temple.

The silver haired jounin opening his mouth to speak, but before words could come out his lover had already dissolved into a dance of petals. ". .. yes" he murmered.

He was worried.

Hours past and she bared no return. In the hollows of the dying sun Florence would find herself by a pond. It rippled, turning over in small waves of darkness, alone she was enticed. Slowly the female waded out, the water taking over her body, folding around her as she rose to float on the surface.

Her clothes stuck to her skin, water finding it's way in her shoes, through every fiber of cloth, hugging her. Lapping at her neck Florence was unphased. A chilling numbness clung to her bones as she stared to the setting sky.

It felt nice.

A certain tired feeling washed over her, but she wasnt foolish enough to catch sleep no matter how heavy her eyes fell.

"Florence?" A voice whispered in the woods, coming upon her rapturous form.

Kakashi Hatake sloshed in the water after her without care for himself or anything else. It was only Florence who mattered.

Silently his arms reached under her, pulling her from the water she swam in. Droplets of water clung to her eyelashes.

"Kakashi" she spoke, slick skin glistening with liquid moonlight, hand reaching to rest on his cheek. "I love you".

"I love you too".

In his arms Florence could feel the warmth of his body, it was nice, welcoming. She felt better, in his arms.

Yet still, the shadows knew her secrets, her true lecherous form. A low breath fanned out from her lips, whispered of words falling dead to the dirt;

"I'm sorry Kakashi, I'm sorry I've leeched to you too".

This chapter has been done for like half a week, but I've had neither the time nor mental capacity to edit it.

It also seems rushed, and like most of chapters is a long filler. Yet still, I hope you my lovelies might enjoy♡

Hope all is well °•☆
