Florence turned her head to peer at Kakashi. The jounin had a hold of her hand, bringing it up to rub his lips across the knuckles. With a chuckle she drew her hand back to rest against her neck.

Two meddling kids watched a few feet behind.

"What's you plan?" Sakura asked, twirling a lock of her hair. Her eyes couldn't help but stray to Sasuke.

"Well" the blonde started, looking sheepishly too the side, "I just thought we would push them together". He didn't really have a set plan.

Sakura rolled her eyes, "okay, but what about this. . .?" She pulled the blonde closer by his collar to whisper in his ear.

A deep red flushed onto his face, all the way to the tips of his ears.

"Did you get that?" She asked, pulling back with doe eyes.

Steam rose up from Naruto's head. Being so close to his crush fried his brain. Only incoherent mumbles fell from his lips.

"Naruto!" Sakura seethed, hitting the top of his head. "Pay attention!"

Florence approached the small metal boat hesitantly. She was always wary around water, afterall the woman was never tought to swim.

The three genin and old man- Taunza were already sitting with the almond shaped boat. Behind her stood Kakashi.

His hand rested on the small of her back, slightly applying pressure as if to push her forward. The jounin's other hand rested on her arm to steady the woman as she stepped in.

Warmth danced on her face, but the only ones who  noticed the medic's flustered face was Sakura and Naruto they winked at eachother.

Florence moved to sit in between the two.

"Hello my children!" The gleeful woman wrapped her arms around their necks and pulled their heads into her chest.

Sasuke looked off into the water, happy he wasn't sat next to her.

"Ah, Florence can I ask you something?" Naruto asked, pulling away from her chest to scratch the back of his neck.

Of course the woman had flowers dancing around her head. Over the moon with the fact one the genin might need her help. "Of course!" She nodded vigorously.

The blonde leaned in to whisper. "I was wondering if I could sit next to Sakura, I really like her".

Florence tilted her head slightly so she could look at Sakura, the pinkette was running her fingers through the water. "Of course" she spoke, standing. The woman was- if anything- a hopeless romantic.

As she stood the boat rocked, forcing her to fall into Kakashi's lap. His arms automatically seemed to wind around her waist.

"Hello" he chuckled with that closed eye smile.

"Hi" florence spoke airly, her heart beating erratically. "How are you?"

Kakashi sighed, shifting an arm to tuck a stand of hair behind her ear. "Better now" he winked playfully.

Flustered the woman could only wrap an arm around his neck and nuggy his head. Still, with a face pressed into her chest the sly jounin still felt like a winner.

Sakura looked to Naruto, "what did you say to her?"

He ignored her question pointing forwards at the couple. "Look".

The pinkette hit the top of his head again, "we've barley even started, relax". It was true, their meddling wouldn't end until the two were together.
