𝙄𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙖 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙤𝙛 𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙪𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜. Not by any accident.

Sakura, the self proposed cupid had been carrying out poorly planned antics all week. A few of them with the help of Naruto and even Sasuke.

At least they were using teamwork.

It had started on a sunday when the pinkette locked her bedroom door, forcing Florence to sleep with Kakashi.

Though, that wasn't really anything out of the ordinary.

Then, the next day she activated phase two. Which would have been better named: burn-all-the-food-and-force-the-poorly-paid-sensei's-
to-buy-more.

They ate rice that night, while Kakashi cried over his empty wallet.

Yet, the plotting pinkette still wasn't done. Afterall Florence and Kakashi still weren't together. So, she had come with one last plan. One she was certain would work out.

"Sakura" Kakashi sighed knocking on the door.

"Yes Kakashi-sensei?" The short girl leaned her ear to the wood with mock enthusiasm. Naruto and Sasuke stood a few feet away pretending not to notice anything.

"Sakura" he repeated slightly annoyed, "let us out".

From behind the door his fist rested defeatedly on the wood. Florence, who was behind him rolled back and forth on her heels.

"Not until you and Florence are together!" The pinkette yeller childishly, stalking away from the door. This was her final plan, it had to work.

An hour later and the two adults remained confined. Kakashi had moved to lean against the wall. He had turned to reading his book for quite possibly the hundredth time over.

Florence didn't act so laid back. Her mind felt turmoil as she hugged her knees close to her chest.

"Kakashi?" She cleared her throat, voice strained.

The said male peered up from his book, moving the object down to rest below his nose. "Yes?" His eyebrow rose.

The medic shifted, playing with her fingers nimbly. "Why don't you want to be in a relationship with me?"

"I do, it's just, I can't loose you. If things don't work out then I'll be alone". He had lost Obito and Rin, his father and Minato. Florence was the only one he had left.

Her expression turned sour. "That's selfish" her voice drawled.

"Wha-"

"I've loved you for years, I live with you and we act like we're in a relationship- but we aren't. Not because you don't like me, but instead you're to afraid". The medic scoffed rolling her eyes uncharacteristically. "That's selfish".

Again he tried to cut in, his free hand raising as if to ask permission to speak. "Wha-"

"It's my turn to speak". Florence took a deep breath, standing up. Her heart pounded within its cage.

"I've waited for you, but now I'm done. We are leaving this room together or nothing. I can't stay friends with you becuase I'll never be able to let you go". Her voice rose as she stepped closer to him, an accusing finger aimed at his chest.

"So speak now Kakashi". Florence held her head high, blowing a loose strand of hair from her face. "It's all or nothing baby".

For the first time in a long time the silver haired jounin felt nervous.

He loved her, but if things ended out badly she would be lost. Yet, if he didn't try then she would be gone anyways. Kakashi's decision had already been made.

"You are the only person I need in my life. I live you and never hope to loose you". His hand extended out to touch her face. Fingers grazing her jaw and falling to trace her lips.

With a drunken sort of sigh the jounin finshed, "you can have my heart forever and always".

His hand took hers, pressing it to his chest where a slightly accelerated beat could be felt.

A rosey blush rose to Florence's face.

"That's all I've ever wanted".

They were the sun and the moon. In which even if the longest of days they would be met in passing. Always, no matter what, coming back to eachother.

👀👀late chapter, but guess who has excuses? Lol rip me, this is exam week and I have work and there has been this thing in my life which has been dragging on and is a metaphoric pile of flaming trash.

Still, yall deserve chapters, so I shall prevail and post for youuuuu ♡
