Team seven with then company of Taunza were on their marry way to the land of the waves. None of the three genin had been there before and Florence wasn't a big fan of the place.

"Kakashi" the seafoam colored hair girl spoke airly with a loss of breath. Her chest felt compressed and her heart was surely beating way too fast.

The jounin glanced at her, slinging a comforting hand around around his waist. "It's okay, I know".

About twenty feet away were two puddles, neither looking deep or dangerous- but in reality they were not puddles.

"But Kakashi" Florence insisted nervously. She could sense the unfamiliar chakra in the puddles. Her nerves tensed waiting for enemies to pop out. The kunoichi's breathing started to shallow coming in short gasps.

"Florence" Kakashi stopped walking and grasped her face with two steady hands. His eyes seemed to soften. "I wont let you get hurt- promise". With that his hand slithered down to take hers comfortingly.

As the group approached the puddles nothing seemed to happen and Florence almost began to believe nothing was going to happen.

That was specifically when something did happen.

Two darkly clothed ninja's sprung forth, chains held within their hands.

Before the light haired kunoichi could object Kakashi let go of her hand raced to the enemies. Within a second their chains wrapped around his waist, ripping him apart.

With a gasp all Florence could do was stare, her mind refusing to accept the situation. Alike to her the blonde knucklehead stood frozen, too scared to delve into battle.

Sakura however had some sense of stability and dove in front of Taunza, kunai in hand. She was determined to do the mission- keep the bridge builder safe.

Sasuke with a steady glare ran to the ninja, prepared to fight. Afterall if he couldn't beat these two, how could he expect to beat Itachi?

With watery eyes Florence ran after Sasuke, if Kakashi really was gone then she had to atleast protect the kids.

Her hands became encased with green, slicing through the arm of one of the ninja. The chain holding appendage fell off, writhing on the ground before going completely limp.

Crimson splatters slid on the kunoichi's face. Florence looked to her hands  the chakra receding, had she really just done that?

Beside her the two ninja retreated, puffing away in a cloud of grey smoke.

And from a near by tree the silver haird jounin dropped down, landing besides his roommate. "You okay?"

She looked to him, her hands still held out in front of her as if they were dirty. "Kakashi" her voice flooded out shaky. "I don't know if I can do this".

He sighed, pulling her into a brief hug, "you already did".

The three genin watched quietly as the scene in front of them unfolded then continued to walk silently, escorting the bridge builder.

"Hey" Naruto tried to whisper, nearing Sakura. The pinkette only glanced distatefully at him, that simple act seemed to singe his heart.

The blonde waited briefly for her to respond and when she didn't he continued.

"Don't you think Kakashi- sensei and Florence are good together?" His words were slightly devious, he had a plan.

Sakura's look softened as she looked ahead to the older ninja. They did seem close and from the ways they looked at each other it was clear the way they felt.

"Aren't they dating?" She asked, her eyes locking on the two's intertwined hands.

"No" Naruto paused a sly look transcending his face, "but we can change that".

His eyes locked with Sakura's, it was time to play cupid.
