Chapter 27 Plans

They arrive at the resort and they all opted to take a rest in their respective rooms first. Of course, Alex and Mia stayed together in one room.

When it was time for lunch their whole family ate of the restaurant in the said resort. After a few hours of rest, the family got ready to hit the beach and pool.

Alessia and Mia were side-by-side, looking around the resort. "I did a research about this place, and it's huge! There a lot of attractions within this resort, and it's so aesthetic." Alessia blabbered excitedly. The resort resembled Santorini, Greece.

"A lot of reviews say that the service is good and the place is really refreshing," Mia commented.

"You forgot to say romantic," Alessia grinned at Mia, and the latter couldn't help but blush. "I knew it! You're onto something, aren't you? Oh my gosh, I totally caught you."

"Shut up, it's not like I'm going to seduce your brother or something."

"So you are planning on something," Alessia gave a knowing look.

"What is even playing in your mind? I just want me and Alex to have a good time together." Mia defended herself, but Alessia never stopped grinning at her. Mia slapped her arm, "Stop it," which made Alessia laugh.

Dinner came and they were talking about Maven getting into college with a scholarship. They all congratulated him.

"Our kids are all grown up now. Next thing you know you're already alone in the house." Alex and Alessia's mom commented.

Mia and Maven's parents couldn't help but be emotional.

"Don't worry, mom, I'll stay with you," Alessia replied with a huge smile on her face.

"Oh please, I actually want you out." Her mom exclaimed which earned a laugh from the whole table except of course from Alessia. "Go find someone to marry and give me some grandchildren for Pete's sake."

"Pfft, you can ask Alex and Mia for babies." The table suddenly turned quiet from Alessia's response. Babies were still a sensitive topic, she hysterically rambled things in her head to retract the heavy atmosphere, "What? Mia's planning on it anyway."

Mia almost choked from the water she was drinking upon hearing Alessia. Everyone's eyes were now on her. "What are you talking about?" She was looking at Alessia with shaky eyes, from embarrassment and nervousness.

"Didn't you talk about it earlier?" Alessia shot again.

"Are you really planning on it?" Her dad asked.

"I don't really remember saying that exactly," Mia answered, still looking at Alessia, now with wide eyes, warning her.

"Well, you mentioned something close to it." Alessia still replied not looking at Mia, which made the latter roll her eyes.

Mia felt like she was on a hot seat. "She just took things too far in her head," Mia nervously answered and continued eating, dismissing the subject, but Mia could still feel Alex's small glances at her even though he didn't say anything earlier.

Fortunately, Alex and Alessia's mom diverted the topic back to Maven, asking if he already has a place to stay while in college.

After the eventful dinner, the couple agreed to take a walk holding hands, appreciating the scenery under the moonlight.

"This place is really nice, I can stay here for a few more days," Alex pulled Mia closer to him, resting his hand on her waist.

"Let's look around tomorrow for the other attractions," Mia suggested.

"Okay," Alex gave her a quick kiss on the lips, which made Mia shy.

"Not in public, please," Mia took a step back from Alex, trying to widen their gap.

"What? We're the only ones here."

Mia looked around and it was true that they were the only ones in the area but there were still a few people in the distance

"Still," Mia insisted.

"Why are you being shy? Didn't you want this all morning?" Alex teased, which earned him a glare.

Mia walked again, purposely leaving Alex behind. She stopped at a balcony resting and leaning her weight on the railings. 

Alex went to her side, wrapping his arms around her waist. Mia felt his lips on her temples to her cheek. "Was it true?" Alex asked in a soft voice. Mia pulled her head back and faced Alex with a confused expression.

"That you're ready to plan to have kids again?" Alex asked, expectation and nervousness laced in his voice.

Mia looked down, chewing her lips. It took her a couple of seconds before answering, "I mean, we can try, right?" Mia looked up, and she was surprised to see Alex's watery eyes. "Are you crying?" Mia placed her hands on both his cheeks, unsure of what to do.

Alex shook his head and pulled Mia in a tight hug. Alex pulled slightly away, making Mia do the same. He looked at her for a brief moment before leaning in for a long kiss. He began to her neck, throat and to her ear, nibbling it.

Mia pulled away, "We should go back to our room."

As soon as their door was closed Alex pulled Mia by the wrist, kissing her again.

They took turn removing each piece of clothing they wore until they were on the bed skin to skin.

He thrust into her gently, kissing her every time he went it, while she hugged him with his legs and arms possessively.

When they both reached their climax and release, Alex found her lips again, intertwining their fingers, before completely lying on top of her. Mia ran her hands through his hair while they catch their breath.

Alex moved to her side, nuzzling close to her, "I love you."

"I love you too," she kissed his forehead, hugging him close until they both fell asleep.
