The next morning, I woke up alone. I glanced at the clock and saw that it was 8:00 am, beside it was a prepared breakfast prepared by the hospital. Great, hospital food again.
After I finished eating, I had nothing to do. I wasn't in the mood to read some book that Alessia brought yet. The silence in the room was killing me so I decided to take a walk.
I passed by the nursery area of the hospital when I noticed someone familiar standing at the area's hallway. It was Dr. James, intently looking at the babies. I walked closer by the window where the babies can be seen.
"Such small angels.." I softly said, couldn't hide my glee seeing the little ones. I felt him turn his head at me.
I looked back at him smiling, but his eyes relayed sadness... Then my head started to hurt.
"Congratulations, you've been blessed with an angel for 3 weeks now!" A memory suddenly flashed into my head.
My hand automatically went to my head trying to ease the pain that was starting to build up.
"Are you okay? What's wrong?" Dr. James went closer holding my arms for support. He was searching for my eyes, crouching a little to level with me.
I tried to calm down, taking deep breaths continuously. "I'm fine. I'm sorry. Just dizzy that's all."
He heaved a sigh, "Why are you not in your room?" He asked. Suddenly I was nervous. I felt like I was some kid caught red-handed.
"I was alone and bored. So I decided to take a walk." I answered, not looking into his eyes.
"How long have you been out?"
"About 5 minutes maybe," I said, head down.
"You should get back and rest. I'll walk you back to your room." He said, and we start walking.
"You shouldn't be tiring yourself. You're still on the process of recovering." His brows were creased, annoyance evident in his voice caused by my disobedience.
Sorry was all I can say.

"We're here. Go have some rest." I didn't realize we've already stopped in front of my room.
I looked up at him, thanking him for his company. After waving goodbye, I turned to my door about to open it when I saw someone inside through the small glass window.
I looked closely to see who it was and realized that it was a guy that I haven't seen before. I thought maybe he was some sort of nurse or an employee in the hospital, but he wasn't wearing a uniform. I start to panic. Scared that he might do something, I spun around about to leave and go elsewhere.
To my surprise, I saw Maven walking near me. He has just arrived together with Alessia.
"What are you doing standing there?" Maven asked.
I looked through the window again. Maven copied me, and when he saw the situation, his face was contorted with anger. He suddenly opened the door entering my room, leaving me standing in shock of his sudden action.
"What's going on?" Alessia asked, clueless.
Alessia and I quickly followed inside, feeling anxious.
"You have some nerves coming in here." I was standing behind Maven, I can see his fists curling up into a ball.
"You've got guts to go this far."
Shit, my head is at it again with the flashbacks.
"Mia, are you alright?" I felt Alessia stand by my side, supporting me by holding my arms. "Maven, just tell him to leave already!" Alessia cried, voicing out my thoughts.
"Can't I visit a friend?" The guy answered back. "I heard she already woke up."
"Can't I treat my junior a meal?"
"You're not her friend. Know where you stand. Leave." Maven said through gritted teeth.
"Your crossing the line in this senior-junior relationshit. You better know where to stand. Don't ever come near her again."
My head was already thumping. "Stop, please." I pleaded, but they didn't listen. They were completely ignoring me.
"I will. Right after I've talked to her." The guy persisted. And it was the last straw to Maven's patience.
In a split second, Maven was already in front of the guy, crumpling his collar in his fists.
"Can't you understand? I told you to leave." Maven growled at him.
"Woah there big guy, you need to chill. I just wanted to see Mia."
"You're not welcome here."
"Stop! Please!" I screamed in pain. The pounding in my head was getting unbearable. Tears were already welling up in my eyes. I don't know what to do anymore.
I finally caught their attention and the next thing I knew Maven was already beside me.
"Mia!" he called. "Alessia, call someone." Alessia immediately dashed out of the room. My legs were already weak, I grabbed onto Maven's jacket for support.
It didn't take long when I heard the door of my room open. Maven moved aside and Dr. James was my view. "Mia. What's happening? What do you feel? Talk to me." His questions made me feel more emotional. My tears were running down my cheeks, I couldn't stop.
"My head hurts," I answered in between my sobs.
"It's going to be fine." I felt Dr. James' arms around me. He guided me to lay on my bed when I heard Maven shout.
"Look what you did to her! Get out!" Maven was pushing the guy out of the room.
"But, Mia. She's... I didn't mean to.." He tried to protest.
"Leave jerk! Don't ever go near her!"
The scene was making me stressed, a mental breakdown was an understatement of what I was experiencing.
"Shh," Dr. James' soothed, leaning my head to him. I closed my eyes, trying to calm down, but then I felt another pair of hand touch my arm, and the next was a stinging pain. Slowly, I felt sleep getting to me.
"He's a colleague, he doesn't mean anything to me." I was having a heated argument with someone.
"Then why were you with him?"
"I told you he just sat at the same table I was sitting without notice! We weren't together!"
"Have you told him to stay away from you?"
"Yes! Tons of times! But the guy's freaking obsessed!" I exclaimed, frustration and annoyance evident in my voice.
