Chapter 7

~All alone~

Kylie's POV

I got upstairs to my room and got ready.I put on some denim shorts and a regular white t-shirt.
I did my hair and put on a little make up.Since it wasn't time to leave yet,I scrolled through social media for a bit.I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in" I said "Hey" Chase said as he came in the room.
"What do you want?" I asked Chase "I just came to tell you that I'm going out with my friends and we'll be back at like 6pm.They might stay the night." "Okay" I answered "I'm going out with Payton in a bit,because he's leaving for Canada" "Okie dokie,have fun" Chase said getting out and closing the door.
It was time for me to leave.I grabbed my phone,my purse and my keys and left the house.Payton was already here waiting for me.
I greeted Payton with a hug.
"Let's go grab a coffee first and we'll figure out what to do next" I said "Okay" he agreed and we started walking.On our way to the coffee shop we just made small talk.
We grabbed coffee and decided to go walk around the mall.
We spent the whole day just walking around and talking.
When it was around 7pm we decided to go home.
"You know that I'll miss you,right?" I said to Payton when we got to his house. "I'll miss you too,Kylie." He said wrapping his arms around me,bringing me in a hug."We can still talk though" he said pulling away.
"I know but it won't be the same.Plus now I'll be all alone without you and Julia." I said with tears already forming in my eyes.
I hugged Payton really tightly "I love you buddy" "I love you too,Kylie".
"Have a nice time there" I said waving at Payton and walking away.
When I got home I got inside and yelled "I'm home" "We're in the kitchen" Chase answered.
I put my bag on the couch and went to the kitchen to say hi to everyone.
I grabbed an apple and said "I'll go to my room.Good night." "Well,why don't you stay with us?" Chase asked
"It's okay Chase,you don't have to feel sorry for me" "Come on,Kylie.I know you have nothing better to do." "What if I do?" "No you don't" Chase said laughing. "Okay,fine.I'm staying with you guys" "Yay" Chase said acting like a little excited kid.
It was only around 8pm so it wasn't that late.
"Do you guys want to watch a movie?" I asked looking at everyone.
They all nodded."Okay,I'm gonna get everything ready and you go pick a movie." I said taking out bowls for popcorn.
We got everything ready in the living room.
The blankets,pilows,snacks and all that.
"Make yourselves comfortable" Chase said gesturing to the couch and everything around it.
We all sat down and Chase picked out a movie.
Thirty minutes in,I felt my eyes getting heavy.I relaxed and felt an arm wrap around me.I didn't really bother to look who it was,since I was really tired and comfortable.I soon drifted away to sleep in someone's arms.
