“I love you Sandra. Mahal na mahal kita… noon at hanggang ngayon,” he said after their kiss. “Do you love me, too?”

She nodded and said, “I love you, too Greg… noon at hanggang ngayon.”

He wiped the remaining tears on her cheek with his thumb and looked at her beautiful face. He wanted to memorize how she looked this very moment – the time that he is finally able to get the girl that almost got away.

“Tititigan mo na lang ba ako hanggang mamaya?” she jokingly said.

Natawa si Greg at sinabing, “I was actually thinking of something more than kissing pero baka i-break mo ako kaagad kaya ‘wag na lang.”

Pumula ang mukha ni Sandra dahil dito kaya hinampas n’ya si Greg atsaka kumawala sa pagkakahawak n’ya sa kanya. “Kainis ka! Sige ipagpatuloy mo ‘yan at mamaya lang talaga break na tayo.”

“So officially tayo na talaga? Pwede na kitang tawaging baby ko, for real?”

Nahihiyang tumango si Sandra sa binata.

He took her hands in his and looked straight into her eyes. “Hindi mo lang alam how long I’ve dreamed and waited for this moment to come.”

She answered him with, “Alam ko, kasi ganun din ako katagal naghintay para sa moment na ito.”

“Sorry kung ang bagal-bagal ko.”

“It’s okay. Ang importante nandito ka ngayon.”

“Ngayon and until the rest of our lives. I love you,” he said.

“I love you Greg.” Nagkatitigan pa muna ulit sila ng ilang segundo bago nagsalita ulit si Sandra, “Greg, kumain ka na ba? Magpahinga ka muna. You must be tired from your trip.”

“Actually, hindi pa ako kumakain. From the airport I went here pero walang nagbubukas ng pinto. Then I went to the office pero wala ka doon. I had to ask Fred to call you and find out where you were.”

“Ah kaya pala biglang tumawag.”

“Yeah.”
