One month into the contract with the Valderamas ay halos hindi na nagkikita si Greg at Sandra sa opisina. Sa condo na lamang sila nakakapagsama at nakakapag-usap. Both of them are busy with different accounts. They attend different meetings, go to different client calls, and talk to different people. Malayong-malayo dun sa kung paano sila when Greg was just starting in the firm. Kung noon ay halos hindi sila mapaghiwalay, ngayon naman ay himala na kung magkakasama sila sa isang lugar.

"Baby, kayo muna ulit ni Guia ang magkasama magdinner ha?"

"You have a dinner meeting again?"

"Oo eh. Ipapakilala daw kasi kami ni Fred doon sa isang business partner ni Mr. Valderama."

"Ganun ba? So late ka na naman uuwi?"

"Yeah. Siguro. But I'll try to come home early."

"Don't say that anymore. Naghihintay lang ako eh," ang malungkot na sabi ni Sandra.

"I know I've been making you wait up for me. I'm so sorry. You know how much I wanna be with you kaya lang trabaho ito. I know you know how big this is for the company."

"Alam ko naman 'yun eh kaya nga I can't complain. But you can't blame me rin for missing you."

He lightly pulled her to enclose her in his arms. "And I miss you, too. Alam mo naman 'yun, di ba? Don't worry, once everything's in place mababawasan na itong after work meetings namin. I can just have Lauren and her team do the meetings with us sa loob lang ng office. Konting tiis na lang."

"Yeah," she softly replied.

"I was actually thinking na i-turnover na rin ang account na it okay Hazel 'pag okay na ang lahat. I will just oversee it. I know I should turn it over to you being the next senior in the office pero kapag sa 'yo ko binigay ay ikaw naman ang mawawalan ng time for me kaya kay Hazel na lang. She can handle this. Kasama naman s'ya sa mga planning nito eh. And once I'm off the account, I plan for us to take a break. Let's go on a vacation. Kahit mag-out of the country tayo. We both deserve that alone time."

Napangit si Sandra dito. "Promise?"

"Promise."

"Huy Guia! Bakit kanina ka pa parang nagmumukmok d'yan? At ano bang meron d'yan sa phone mo? Kulang na lang eh ibato mo na ah."

"Wala Ate."

"Aysus! Anong wala? Guia I know you. What's wrong?"

"This is just the usual teenager problem, Ate. Okay lang ako."
