Throughout the whole ride, the fact that the yacht was moving seemed unbelievable to me. I focused mostly on the conversations circling around the table, the drinks being tasted, and the girl whose thigh had my hand around it.

She was lively tonight, as with many nights but tonight seemed different. Her face glowed like the light beams that reflect from the water during night sky. Her eyes wide as she laughed and her white row of teeth exposed. I tried to join conversation but I'm more of a listener than a talker, and everyone knew it. But my ears didn't seem totally focused as a few minutes passed, maybe I was feeling tired since we had been up talking messing around and now it was 4AM turning 5AM. But I didn't feel much sleepiness, my eyes and ears mostly wandered out to the water, hearing the breeze and the ocean, muting out the sound of the voices calmed me. If a voice did manage to peak in, it was Ariana's sweet angelic sound that brought me even more a at peace.

Ariana first addressing me took me out of my bubble.

"Babe?" she said and I looked at her, not sure how much time has passed by.

"Hmm?" I hummed. "Are you sleepy? We can go to our room."  I thought about denying it and letting her enjoy her time, but it already was turning 5AM so I nodded my head. In reality, I wanted to talk just the two of us and hold her with that same backdrop noise of the ocean from their bedroom.

We excused ourselves and said goodnight and politely and in silence walked our way to the bedroom. I followed her and stared at her long hair, her bare shoulder and the little side profile I can see. The glow was still there. Asking for me. Once we got into the room, she took off her jewelry and let her hair down and undid herself while I sat on the bed watching and waiting.

Once she was finished, she walked over to me and put her hands on my cheeks and kissed my nose. I took her hand from my cheek and held it down on my lap.

"Lay with me." I said and we got into a comfortable holding position. I was holding her, her back on my chest, my face in her hair. I could still hear the ocean moving and shining.

My hand went from her waist down to her leg, trying to warm her cold skin, I could get the sense that she wasn't that sleepy either.

"Were you uncomfortable?" she asks.

"Of course not," I answer a little surprised by her question.

"You just wanted to hold me, didn't you?" she asked and I can feel the smile in her question. I held her tightly. "Yes."

Even in my grip, she managed to turn herself around on the bed to face me. As we talked for a little longer, the exchange of wine smells circled in the air between us. We talked about the ocean, the feeling, and anything that didn't require too much thought.

Again time flying by us, it might have been 5:30AM now. The sun was ready to come up in another half an hour.

I kissed her passionately. "You really zone out." she says in general. I shrug in agreement. "That's what I love about you. You really think about your surroundings. You don't seem one ounce ungrateful."

"Hmm. Sometimes I feel like I am."

"You aren't. I see it in you."

"Thank you."

She kisses me again and sighs in between. She lazily finishes it and giggles wrapping her small arms around my neck and stretching her body out at the same time.

"You sleepy?" I ask. "Mmm-hmm." I stay quiet and situate her hands in a comfortable position and hold her.

In a few minutes, she's fast asleep.
