Being a artist has really entered my life in every single way. Everything I do I seem to think of art. I am watching my girlfriend as she is washing the last bit of the dirty dishes. I pay attention to every detail of her. She turns around and let's me see her beautiful face. I watch her as she walks around the kitchen. Her eyes are puffy from the long hours of sleep, her lips are plumped and glossy with chapstick she had added on. Her nose had a perfect structure, her jaw looked so good to kiss. She sure was a hell of a art form. She catches me watching her, "Are you okay?" she blushes. I chuckle "Yeah sorry." I say afraid I made her uncomfortable. She finally sits down across from me at the counter.

"What are you thinking about?" she asks leaning in interested. "I was just admiring your beauty." I say honestly. She blushes and looks down than meets my eyes again. She is so cute. She mumbles a quick 'thank you', "Are you working today?" she asks. I nod a yes. She rolls her eyes and hisses. She knows when I work I barely get out of my work station. I sit down and work on a painting for hours. Once I start something I'd like to finish it if possible. "Oh come on, take a day off. I want to spend time with you all day today." she gives me a puppy dog face. I chuckle "I can't." she frowns. "I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you." I smile leaning in to meet with her eyes that disconnected with mine. Finally they lock and I feel her understanding.

"I really care for you ya know? If I didn't have to, I would be beside you all fucking day." I say. She smiles than gives me a kiss. Suddenly an idea pops up in my head, I get up quickly and go find my sketchpad. I hear Ariana calling out to me since my sudden movements shocked her. I run back into the kitchen and sit down at the same spot. I have a pencil and a blank piece of the sketch paper. "What are you doing?" she asks looking confused. "I wanna sketch you, if you don't mind I mean. We'll be spending time together even though it's work." she thinks. "Okay but let me go get pretty. I look horrible right now." she starts to get up. "No!" I stop her  "You look great baby, I love you without makeup. It's okay please." she smiles. "Ok just make a pose or move your hair." I say starting to get my pencil ready.

She is finally posing for the picture and I stare again admiring her beauty. "Your not sketching." she mumbles. "Shit sorry. I got distracted." I say looking down at the blank paper blushing. I look up again and see her smiling, "You stare a lot huh?" she asks. "That's what artists do." I smile. It was true we admire a lot of things in real life to put into paintings. Trees, places, people, animals, beauty everything. Ariana was a different type of beauty, I'm so glad that I got the chance to draw her.

I began sketching out her face.
