'Tell me what you would like to know.'

Praxidike said quietly, her hazel eyes sincere. Olivia let out a shaky breath as she leaned back on the comfortable recliner, eyeing the manicured garden outside. They were seated in the large library of the God of death himself; rows and rows of books surrounded her calming her slightly. Olivia's eyes fell on the attractive woman sitting opposite to her with brown hair pulled in a French braid, framing her heart-shaped face.

'Everything.' Olivia said and sighed. 'Starting with myself... before I became Olivia Summers.'

There was hesitancy in Praxidike's eyes as if she was doubtful if Olivia was ready. What she didn't know was that Olivia had come to peace with the notion moments ago; finally accepting that it was who she was in the past life and there was nothing to be done about it.

She was still Olivia Summers, daughter to Alec Summers and Caroline Summers, the proud stone-stomached forensic scientist. She would still like strawberry ice-cream and Chinese take-outs and a sucker for rom-com happy endings; nothing would ever change that.

'As you may know, you are the Goddess of Law and Justice. Your parents were Primordial, Uranus who was Sky and Gaia who was Earth. The Moirai or the fates; Clotho, Lachesis and Atropos were your spiritual sisters although in some records they were called as your children. That's not true, of course.'

'Wait, spiritual sisters?'

Praxidike nodded. 'A Primordial, as in a being that supremely controls an element and take their powers from the Cosmos... they don't give birth to their offspring like humans if they haven't taken a form and remain an entity. They just appear into existence due to their conjoined powers, just like that. And sometimes if the Primordial creates a Titan with too much of power, some of it may result in creating other beings along with their child. The three fates were created like that, making them your spiritual sisters.'

'Hmm, okay.' Olivia took a deep breath taking in the information. 'So when a Primordial has a child without doing the nasty, it becomes a Titan like I was and not another primordial?'

'In many cases, no.' Praxidike chuckled. 'For example... Khaos! Do you know who he is?'

'Yeah, I had learned about him long back. He was the first to exist, right?' Olivia asked with a hint of pride for herself, 'The ultimate being?'

'Correct. His children were Tartarus, Gaia, Eros, Erebus and Nyx. They were all Primordial. Uranus was Gaia's son but he was a Primordial as well. Later Gaia married her son and had twelve children including you. But their children were not Primordials and hence Titans came into existence; beings who were less powerful than a Primordial but powerful nonetheless.'

'My father was my mother's son?' Olivia shuddered. 'So if you are born out of incest among two Primordials then you become a Titan?'

'Not really. It mainly happened so because Uranus was not a universe-intended equal to Gaia. But when Erebus married his sister Nyx, their children were all Primordial because they were equal partners. And that is why Lord Keres is a Primordial and you are not.'
