Olivia was in a panic.

Moments ago, an emotionless Anaplekte had delivered a message from Keres that they were visiting Eros for lunch to discuss her condition. Olivia's breakfast rolled around her stomach in nervousness, adding to her nausea.

Even though technically Eros was the grandson of her ex, he was the reincarnation of a much greater being; one of the firsts from the almighty being Khaos. Olivia was worried that she might do or say something to offend a God of such stature or even worried if she might be dressed appropriately.

Mr. Fluffington was growing increasingly impatient with Olivia's anxious behavior that he tried to bite her twice. Finally making up her mind, Olivia went into shower and started a thorough clean up, all the while telling herself that it really didn't matter.

Who cares if he judges me, I'm here to stay whether he likes it or not.

Feeling marginally more confident, Olivia opened her temporary wardrobe that was increasingly becoming snug as though she was slowly getting comfortable in her room in Keres mansion. Reminding herself to call Paul again, Olivia dug through her wardrobe to find something appropriate.

A dress would be too formal and her work clothes were too professional; after all they were going to a lunch in Olympus where she was told it was eternally summer. So she settled with an off-shoulder summer crop top with lemon print and her only pair of light-blue denim shorts with leather gladiator shoes. She let her hair down her back in beach waves and put on light makeup with clear lip gloss that complimented the natural pink of her lips.

Her freckled nose and lip gloss with her outfit gave her a whole summer-before-college vibe and she loved it. She stuffed her small and simple white shoulder bag with the necessities: gum, lip-gloss, keys, phone and other trivialities after which she checked Mr. Fluffington's water supply before moving outside.

She hurried down the corridor towards the study where Anaplekte had asked her to meet with Keres. She knocked twice before she pushed opened the door.

Keres stood near the extinguished fireplace fixing the cuffs of his royal blue business suit that was matched to the white shirt he wore underneath, with immaculate hair and freshly trimmed stubble; looking absolutely jaw-dropping. He turned towards Olivia's direction and she suddenly lost all confidence she managed to build up in the past hour. She looked like she was about to hit the beach when he was dressed to impress a very important client.

Had she dressed down?

'Um, is it too casual?' Olivia self-consciously pulled the end of her crop top.

Keres' charcoal eyes slid down her frame torturously slowly, making her shuffle anxiously. His eyes meshed together with hers again and Olivia felt it again. The tightly wound string that was somehow entangling her with him. Olivia blinked the feeling away. She was imagining things.
