Eros' broad back was leading Olivia and Keres further into his luxurious palace. Olivia walked silently next to a brooding God of Death.

What did he mean by "Themis is truly dead"?

Did that mean that she has to die too?

Fear started trickling down Olivia's rational mind. If Eros ordered right then that Olivia's useless human body to be done away with, she was sure that Keres would be game.

Do they have cell phone signals in Olympus?

She wanted to call her family one last time and maybe even admit that she was the one who used to steal the Christmas cookies before dinner and hide the crumbs in Josh's room.

'Psyche! Psyche! They're here!'

Eros called out once they came to an outdoor parlor that was overlooking a small river meandering past the vast fields. Olivia noticed Keres squinting his eyes as far as they could go with all the sunlight flooding the place. Eros seemed to have noticed it too because he laughed at Keres' plight.

'Ah, I keep forgetting that you are the son of darkness and night.' Eros joked merrily, laughing at Keres' expense. 'Erebus was just like you were when he was young; he couldn't handle the thought of standing out in the sunlight.'

'Glad to hear that I take after my father, Eros.'

Keres replied with a touch of sarcasm and he moved back to the shade casted by the pergola before retrieving a pair of sunglasses from inside his suit-jacket. He wasted no time perching the heavily tinted shades on his nose, masking his eyes. He seemed to have relaxed slightly after his eyes were protected enough from the harsh sunlight.

So this was what he took from his table before we left, Olivia thought to herself with amusement as she observed Keres' profile with the shades on.

He looked lethal; his sharp jaws accentuated and his dark aviators gave him a dashing movie-star look. Not that he wasn't attractive before, but Olivia had to admit that his sunglasses have given a new edge to him and he definitely became ten times hotter with them on.

Eros was watching Olivia and Keres with a weird expression when a woman with strawberry blonde hair emerged from behind another door attached to the main palace, rolling a serving cart with a broad excited smile on her face. She had a small build but Olivia felt a little insecure at how beautiful the woman looked. She had a heart shaped face to go with her long hair, full hips, bountiful breasts and a body that was no stranger to athletic sports. Her eyes were a beautiful baby blue that was innocent; almost angelic.

'Finally! I thought I would die of old age before I see another living immortal!' She complained before throwing a dark look at Eros who smiled at his wife sheepishly.
