Olivia's head was buzzing.

She watched Keres' broad back blocking the small crack on the door as he spoke with Anaplekte. Although he didn't look deterred by their little escapade, she sat on his bed panting and reeling from what happened moments ago.

The moment his fingertips touched her neck, she knew that she was gone beyond saving. Coupled with his sensuous whisper and seductive eyes, she stood no chance against him. Not to mention his hot kisses that liquefied Olivia and took her to heights she had only dreamt of.

She had never once in her 26 years of life experienced such potent rush of desire.

She could still feel his sinewy body brushing against her heatedly as his hands left an electrifying trail throughout her body. The way his lips tangled with hers in a dance as ancient as life took her breath away. And when he called her name like a prayer of a dying man, all sanity left her.

Nothing else mattered to her then; had he asked her for her soul, she would have happily given it to him on a silver platter.

It was terrifying but oh-so thrilling.

'Very well. Inform Thànatos' reapers of the new developments.' Keres' whimsical hum broke her out of her lust filled thoughts. 'I shall visit Olympus in a moment.'

'Alright, boss.'

The door clicked closed and Keres turned around, running his hands through his disheveled hair as he walked back to where Olivia sat nervously. He sat on the edge of his bed, deep in thoughts.

'What happened?'

She got up and scooted close to his strong frame to touch his shoulders lightly. He turned his head to her side and she noticed that he had turned his eyes back to their normal state. The breathtaking, completely black eyes and ruby red ring in them had shrunk back to resemble human-like eyes.

'There has been an attack in Olympus.' Olivia stiffened at Keres words. 'Zeus had asked me to come to his palace as soon as possible.'

'Who was attacked? Was it Typhon?' Olivia asked in a rush; worried about Themis' daughters.

'Ares, the God of War and Zeus' and Hera's only son.' Keres said, his brows dipping in thought. 'Zeus believes it is Typhon's message of arrival to him. But the truth of the matter is yet to be uncovered.'

'Do you think it was Typhon?' She asked in a hush.

'Could be. But at the same time, Ares is not without a few enemies as a result of his reckless behavior. It could easily have been any other creatures who harbors vengeance against him.' Keres replied contemplatively.

Olivia fell back, silently wondering if the war they feared had started. She eyed the painfully attractive man sitting close to her. If what he said, and showed, was true that would mean he was her soulmate. Someone who she was to cherish for the rest of, well, eternity.
