Hymnum glóriæ Kósmou

Khaos is the single entity who is attributed to the creation of Cosmos and all realms contained within it. We are unclear on his origins or if he is alone; but as far as we are concerned he is the singularity at which this known universe ceases to exist. He was termed as "Azathoth" in HP Lovecraft's Necronomicon; the accounts of which is simply unknown.

Cosmos is the medium where the nine realms resides. Travelling between the Cosmos' realms requires one to be gifted with the ability to control Cosmos. This may vary from very large sense of control to no control at all. The Cosmos contains nine realms, six of which are:

1. Earth: "mortal realm" marked by the absence of "control" beings and hence, it is a middle ground preferred by many beings.

2. Olympus: "Heaven" the realm of light where the reigning crown resides. It is a converging realm that "control" beings depend on for stability of the Cosmos. The Crown also presides over Pantheon for accounting democracy.

3. Underworld: "Hell" the realm of dark where the "control" beings of the dark reside. It is where the mortal souls complete their immortal life. Many creatures with affinity to darkness and destruction gravitate to underworld but lead a relatively peaceful life due to the leadership of the Dark Clan.

4. Limbo: "Purgatory" "Land of the outlaws" the realm of in-between that was previously an empire focused on its individual issues. But after the fall of the empire in acts as a free-pass between Earth and the Underworld. Run by an underground mafia called "Resistance."

5. Aerta: "Unseen" the realm of unknown. One of Khaos' earliest creations. It is speculated that the realm has one entity alone but is otherwise left alone. (creative inspiration: Antimatter built earth.)

6. Sylva: "Woodlands" the realm of gentle creatures. It is where Rhea and the other titans who sided the present Crown left after the Titanomachy war.

All souls are immortal. But they have, however, different life cycles based on their part of Cosmos called the "essence." It has no connection the physical body or appearance and is entirely spiritual. This ideology is what permits reincarnation: the transference of essence from one physical body to the next.

Humans are in the bottom of the rung. This is because humans were a creation of Prometheus, a God. After he was exiled by Zeus for disturbing the Cosmos' stability by introducing a being of very weak essence and as a result possess no control for itself. The three fates (Moirai) were born out of necessity to bring some form of structure to the growing humanity.

Monsters and other beings like daemons comes next. They have extremely limited control on the Cosmos, many having bare necessities of control for survival. Daemons are usually granted slight control by serving Gods in lifetimes of servitude.

Demi-Gods have no control since they are more human than Gods. But some cases have been noted where their recessive genes gave them slight control of their bloodline. (eg: Makelo)

Gods are the next weakest control beings. They usually control a small domain under the blessings of a Primordial of that larger domain. (eg: Zeus controlling thunder from his great-grandfather, Uranus the Primordial of Sky.) They have no direct access to the Cosmos to the Cosmos outside of each realm (pure) but control a filtered version from the Primordial of their domain (impure). They are not directly affected by instability due to this filtered control.

Titans are the most balanced control beings. They have limited access to pure Cosmos and hence usually pledge no allegiance to a Primordial deity. They are affected by imbalance/instability of Cosmos but on a much lighter scale due to limited access. They have the ability of reincarnation but their control would weaken when omnipresent (giving their essence back into Cosmos indefinitely, the closest stage of death a being can achieve).

Primordials are the most powerful of control beings. Their relationship with the Cosmos is the most direct and purest and hence they suffer the most if balance is tipped. They can easily navigate through realms with no real consequences and their control will not be much affected realm to realm, even though most prefer familiar realms to wield control. They are also beings that need not be a physical entity and is given an option to remain omnipresent for all eternity if they so choose to without having to suffer any lack off control.

Cosmos is a mass of energies.

When this energy mass' delicate balance and pattern is disturbed, for instance draining it too quickly, this results in instability. Power shifts are the most common disturbances. This intricate balance must be maintained in order to have better control over it.

    Control: //influence//

Cosmos pertains all.

Hence, beings with direct control over it would wield equally across all realms. But since control is largely understanding of the balance of Cosmos, the being would prefer more familiar realms due to ease. The purity of control would determine the destructive or constructive extent.

Any being that made of the Cosmos' essence will have a threshold beyond which Cosmos cannot be controlled. A human will never wield the Cosmos as superior as Gods. The being may voluntarily not explore the extent of their threshold but the potential would always remain with the being. It is not something that improves with practice as the control is more about the confidence with the patterns of Cosmos.

*artifact is anything physical which can also include bloodlines and DNA, properties, ritualistic articles, sustenance and tattoos.
