I'm woken up by knocking at my door. I sit up and put on my glasses, "Ughhh it's too early. What is it?" Joji opens my door "wake up Ian's asleep and I have nobody to hang with." I flop back into bed and roll over, "Never. I want more sleep." He sits down on my bed and shakes me, "Come on, we've been here three days and haven't been to the beach once. Get upppp" I roll back over and look at him he still has bed head and he looks adorable. I sigh and sit back up rubbing my eyes under my glasses, "Do we gotta get up now? You probably want a little more sleep too, it's like 8 am." I wrap my arms around him and pout. He sighs and pulls away from me leaning back into my bed, "set an alarm to go off in 30 minutes." I smile knowing I've won and set an alarm before laying back down next to him. "So you're going to sleep in my bed?" I ask taking my glasses back off. "I can get up and go get back in my bed if you want" he opens one eye to look at me. I shake my head and he smiles. He reaches his arm out to me and I cuddle up to his side with my head on his chest. He wraps his arm around me and I fall back asleep pretty quickly. Apparently, he dozed off too because he's snoring quietly when the alarm goes off. I snooze it for 5 more minutes and lay there enjoying his company. His quiet breathing and the sound of his heartbeat is soothing. The alarm goes off once again and I gently shake him awake. He smiles at me, "well this is definitely a good way to wake up." I roll my eyes and get up to brush my teeth and wash my face. I come out of the bathroom to find him laying in the center of my bed wearing my glasses and taking pics on my phone. "Umm excuse me, sir." I sit on my bed and take my phone from him laughing, "you made me get up so you gotta get up too." "Ugh fine" he sighs and hands me my glasses. He sits there for a minute. I start to snap a pic of him and he looks at me, "Trust me you have plenty of pics of me in your phone now, you're welcome by the way." I scroll through my gallery and see the dozens of goofy pics of him and giggle. "Go get ready. I'm going to go wake up the other idiot and get dressed" he stands up and stretches before heading across the hall to his room. I get up and walk down the hall to Ian's room, I knock on the door before walking in. I yell at him to wake up which probably would be obnoxious if he actually woke up but he doesn't move. I walk over to his bed and pick up a pillow, "I didn't wanna resort to this bud, last chance." Still no response from him, "You asked for it" I smile and hit him with the pillow. He finally rolls over annoyed with my antics. "What the hell dude," he says not fully awake yet but still capable of shooting me a death glare. "Good Morning sunshine" I grin and toss the pillow back on his bed, "get dressed we're going to the beach." He sits up and rubs the back of his head before putting on his glasses, "fine I'll see you in a minute, get out so I can change." I leave his room and go back to mine to get dressed. I toss my suitcase on my bed and pull out my swimsuit and some shorts. I head to the bathroom and get dressed before pulling my hair up. I grab my phone and vape before heading across the hall. I tap on Joji's door, "you decent in there Miller?" I ask waiting for a reply before opening the door. "I have shorts on if that's what you're asking" he answers. I open the door and sit down on his bed. He turns away from his bag and looks at me, "oh wow uh nice outfit" he stutters a bit. I laugh at him "you don't look too bad yourself there George" I wink half-jokingly. "Might wanna cover up a bit though before Ian sees and goes into dad mode again." I roll my eyes and lay back into his bed, "I'm not going back across the hall I'm lazy and still super sleepy." He shakes his head and tosses his Chicago jersey at me. I sigh and sit up to put it on. "You can't steal that one for good yet tho I wanna wear it still so you gotta share it" he smiles at me. "I can deal with that, wanna go downstairs and get a Redbull and maybe a snack?" I ask standing up. He nods and we head downstairs to get caffeinated and wait for Ian. I open the fridge and grab a Redbull for each of us and a granola bar handing him his and sit down on the couch, opening mine before patting the spot next to me. He smiles sitting next to me while I eat my "breakfast", he drinks half of his energy drink in one "sip". Ian finally comes downstairs and we both finish our drinks. "Well look who decided to join us" I joke and get up to throw our cans away. "I gotta get my sunglasses and shoes before we leave. Joji can you grab me a water?" He nods and I run upstairs and grab my slides and towel before digging my sunglasses out of my backpack. I quickly head back downstairs and Joji hands me a bottle of water and throws his arm over my shoulder. "Let's GO!" We head out the back door and walk down the little stepping stone path before we make it to the beach. Ian brings a blanket and we lay it out in the sand in a nice sunny spot. I toss my stuff in Ian's backpack before putting on a ton of waterproof sunscreen because I sunburn super easily. I put on my sunglasses and take my shirt off before looking at the boys' "If I take my shorts off are you gonna act your age or like middle schoolers?" Ian shrugs "I don't really care you're practically my sister at this point." Joji grins "I'll act my age but that doesn't mean I can't look." Ian smacks his shoulder and I shake my head at him before taking off my shoes and shorts and set them neatly next to Ian's bag a safe distance from the sand. I sit down with my legs crossed and take a sip of my water. Joji looks at me for a second before grinning again, "race you to the water short stuff." I smile back at him and take off my sunglasses standing up, "oh it's on Miller" I hand Ian my glasses and he shakes his head at us and calls us children under his breath. "3 2 1 GO" Joji half yells and we both dart towards the waves. We get there at about the same time but that doesn't stop him from yelling "I win HA!" And splashing me with water. I recover from the shock of the cold water and push him causing him to lose his balance and fall backwards into the water. I start to laugh but he pulls me into the water shortly afterward. After a few minutes of us goofing around Ian finally comes to join us. We swim for a while before I decide to get out and lay down to tan. I prop myself up and watch the boys play frisbee with some guys from a nearby beach house. Joji came to sit with me after a while and he takes my sunglasses putting them on and posing before laughing. "Can I get a drink of that H2O I'm getting too old for this shit." I shake my head and hand him my bottle of water as Ian walks back up to us. "I know I'm definitely too damn old," he says sitting down on the other side of me. I lay back and close my eyes, "you two aren't old shut up." I hear Joji chuckle, "well we definitely aren't as young as you kiddo." I sit up and glare at him, "I'm not a kid, I'm almost 23!" Ian reaches over and takes my water bottle from Joji and finishing it off before saying "Still a kid in my eyes." I shake my head and take my glasses from Joji before putting them on and laying down once again. I turn over on my stomach and rest my head on my arms looking at my phone. I scroll mindlessly through Instagram for a while then Joji spoke and broke my concentration or should I say lack thereof. "I'm hungry you guys wanna head back and order pizza?" I smile, "when do I not want pizza?" I stand up and put on my shorts and the shirt Joji gave me before gathering the rest of my things. Ian picks up the blanket and shakes the sand out of it and we head back up to the house. He sits the blanket on a chair on the back deck as we head inside. "I'm gonna head upstairs and shower." I say taking off my sunglasses and setting them on the counter. "Me too. I have sand in unspeakable places." Joji shakes his head, I giggle and we head upstairs. I stop at my door and turn to Joji, "I'll bring you your shirt when I get out of the shower." He nods and we both enter to our rooms.
